  1. Edit: updated now, will update the graphic later ?
  2. I'm inclined to agree re: the coaching staff, unless they show a complete mindset change over the next few games, will probably need to be offski. The culture of the club (as well as squad members) needs overhauling this summer and we've got a good excuse to do it. Ferguson definitely has another level in him and hopefully whoever comes in can extract it out of him. But agree with LA, we'd be silly not to try and sell for the right price. Team dependent too. I am concerned re: McRorie tbh. I wonder if we've now signed a dud (due to covid) and if he'll ever rediscover his form. His lungs will be fucked as a consequence of it, hence his poor fitness levels.
  3. ED mentioned that to me on WhatsApp, one of the few Scottish names that would appeal.
  4. Absolutely this. The squad is mediocre, much like the clubs ambitions. This summer is a massive opportunity to start with a relative clean slate.
  5. Rumours of a slavia player getting (rightly so) battered at ibrox. If he’s found of a racist slur, he deserves everything
  6. So, first game post McInnes era. I expect us to play free flowing football and score multiple goals. Anyway, reality, it will be interesting to see how the team respond to all of the recent news. Will they find new energy or will they just carry on as they were? I'd hope they play with a bit more freedom. I'm not expecting a win here but I don't expect it to be a goalless draw like the last two games. Out Bed Bed Bed (Ha) 1-1, Consi
  7. Brisbane had an upturn in form at the start of this season, and he tried to claim credit for it. He had some good results but by and large he was shite for them and caused quite a stir in the dressing room.
  8. Have started Snowpiercer. It's a good watch. I read some of the "graphic novel" / comic book as one of my old house mates was a big fan.
  9. Tin star was fantastic. We felt the same about Your Honour too, a bit too much and actually I found the son annoying as fuck.
  10. Had heard of this previously, maybe around the time of the documentary but had never heard of the rationale behind it. Great story!
  11. Not disagreeing with any of that, particularly the last two paragraphs. That's what I was trying to insinuate with my last point. The air of inevitability about it. Feels like it's happening regardless of it being the right appointment. I did feel he was genuine about some of what he said about him, but maybe that was my morning judgement.
  12. Had a listen on the way into work this morning. Was a good listen and everyone had interesting inputs on the debate. Whether the journalist had to say what he was saying I don’t know, but on the face of it, he spoke very highly of Glass and what he’d been asked to do and achieved thus far at Atlanta. He’s no record breaker but he does sound like he’s a good student of the game. Just not sure. I mean, I guess no one does really. We all have to hope it works out. Kinda has an air of inevitability about it though. the boy from DST is clearly a special level of delusion.
  13. Fuck. That.
  14. Great post and I think it summarises my thoughts and feelings towards the McInnes era well. I’ll be forever grateful for the league cup win and breaking the into hoodoo (which I and not Jute was present lol). Definitely felt that 2017 was the time for him to go and I do wish he’d left for the Huns. Would he have been successful there? Maybe, maybe not. He hasn’t necessarily proved that he knows what to do with money. id rate his overall time as a B-, it really could and should have been much better. A second trophy would have changed everything IMO, and qualifying for Europe. Why he failed consistently to do that is beyond me. Yes, we faced some big teams, but there were also shit teams we should have dispatched. I wish him and doc well, and I’m intrigued to see what cormack does to really set his tenure going.
  15. Good to see you posting here again, Stooge! Looking forward to reading this on the train in the morn ?
  16. As a mate of mine said, if we’re going for any Robinson, it should be Karl at Oxford. Played decent football at Franchise FC (mk dons). Why do folk want anyone with any recent experience of the spfl? They’re fucking shite (except Clarke).
  17. Sun reporting it as true.
  18. Lots of rumours on Twitter saying he’s been binned today, but I haven’t seen it from a source I’d say that has a reliable record. Not reading too much into it yet
  19. It’s funny that yanks apparently hate socialism and haven’t a clue what the difference is between it and communism. I mean, I’m not surprised with the amount of drugs and shite food they’re fed from day 0. anyway, one thing I always applaud is that their sports leagues are exactly that, socialism in action. The controlling mongrels in Scotland will never have the appetite for it, and I doubt the chairmen do either. We’d need a breakaway fans league to get anything close to what is needed. Viva la revolucion!

Dark waters. Excellent film and very dark. Always suspected du pont were cunts (large yank company) and this very much confirmed it.
  21. I think you might have misunderstood what I was getting at. It’s brilliant for st. Johnstone, I’m jealous of their feat. It’s more embarrassing for us that despite us being Scotland’s “second club” during this period (obviously not in the last three years) despite the investment, it has shown that we have very little to show for it. This is a criticism of DM and the club. I don’t for one second think that we deserve anything, but I don’t think we’ve wanted it enough. There has been bad luck (Rodgers years) but the last few seasons it feels like we’ve just not had the desire, skill or nous to win. Luck plays a part (as al alluded to) but winning does not not appear to be in the clubs mentality at the mo. in terms of variety, it’s also good for the country.
  22. Hamilton have done well of late, obviously anderson seems to have settled in pretty well and we all know what the probably politics are behind that. Anyway, be interesting if they play with the same verve without him. a game we should win, but probably struggle and get a draw from. The two Celtic games were very similar to each other and the killie game was a surprise (although our record against them is very good). Feels like this team is just going through the motions at the moment and we’ve no bite in the middle. out bed bed bed 1-1, kamberi
  23. Thoroughly embarrassing. Don’t get me wrong, I’m pleased for them, but absolutely jealous given the investment this team has received over the years
  24. Disappointing if that’s true. Not that he would ever come to us, but still, disappointing.
  25. Aye, but he was at hibs , so that ticks a box in itself ?
