  1. Haha Doh, didn't spot that. So its either hibs draw or united draw, don't know which I prefer
  2. Cannot disagree with any of that. Thing is, I've always said I thought he was a good player, it just continues to baffle me (well maybe not) that he doesn't get a game. He has so much composure on the ball, which is something we've been lacking this season. What happens now when Zander gets back? Does he stay out? Or go straight back into a winning team?
  3. I thought Rangers had to drop points somewhere along the way? But I'll take it you've got that right anyway Ajja, I like the looks of that! I was talking to a tim yesterday and he couldn't understand why I wanted Rangers to win every game apart from the last one at Pittodrie. Fool. It would be an absolutely phenomenal way to end the season, good to see we're finally trying!
  4. The season has been going on so long now that I feel that I have aged sufficiently for me to reach puberty and grow facial hair Actualy, I don't think I'll ever be able to grow any!
  5. I don't recall such a game
  6. Come on Aberdeen!!! I'm definitely dreaming. Why not eh! As has been mentioned, even if we can finish above the Arabs, that would make me pwoud and laugh Definitely need the Huns to keep their jammy run up!
  7. Come on Aberdeen...Don't throw this away! Bus on Edit: YASSSSS woohoo, Come on you REDS!!! Keep it up! I couldn't handle those last few minutes!
  8. Ah thats why she's feeling a bit deflated
  9. Sounds like we were hanging on at the end there! Keep it up Aberdeen!!!
  10. Aren't you the epitomy of "modern man"!
  11. COME ON EWE REDS! Keep it up!
  12. Weird start to the game. Dons playing football!
  13. Bare bones springs to mind
  14. Celtic were absolutely dire! I coudln't believe it, even in the last minute they nearly equalised! Oh well, the dream is still on! Come on you Reds! We can do this! Make us pwoud!
  15. As I've said before, throughout the JC era, none moreso than this season, will be remembered by me as a "what if" season.
  16. This is the worrying thing, Ryan Strachan was suppoed to be a good player, yet we release him. I keep telling myself, how many of these players develope to haunt us and become better players elsewhere. So far, *touch wood* none have, but the whole situation is quite worrying really. These are supposed to be our better youngsters, but are still not good enough?!?! I hope we see the fruits of our youth setup revamp in the next few years. We need it. As for squad filling, as you said RR, we need to fill out our squad, because we have realised this season (the boards fault) that in order to have a good cup run and league season, we cannot have a pathetically small squad like the one we currently have. It will be an interesting summer. Hopefully for the right reasons.
  17. I totally acknowledge this, but lets face it, footballers aren't the smartest, and more often than not, don't look at the bigger picture. Nicholson moreso I would have thoughtwould have stayed, family man and a settled family man at that. But what do I know. But more importantly money talks to footballers and to most people. I'm not saying I would do it, but thats probably because I have red spectacles on.
  18. Totally agree, its only natural for people to try and better themselves financially. They have a shorter career than most people so have to get as much as possible in a short period. I know I would prefer a player to stay with the club because they love the club, and I think he's an important piece of it, but I don't begrudge him seeking a better deal. The club have to accept it and find a replacement for him, which we hope they are doing so.
  19. So did we play well twice then? I'm only messing, but I totally agree, we usually got horsed, but in the end we held our own. It would be completely wrong to compare this to what the Gothenburg greats did, but I guess it just shows how starved of European football the fans really are at the club.
  20. I thought we played really well against Bayern, at home anyway, away we were pish. I think more than anything, I'd like to remember how we did, cos I was usually quite tanked.
  21. Completely agree BTR, lets pray that the tims actually stick to the manuscript and beat Well first as well! The ball is still in our court. Come on you Reds!
  22. I'm glad the club seem to be keeping a tight lip on transfer targets for a change I hope Walker stays, can only be good for both parties.
  23. Unusual for our club not to talk with other people eh! As I said, I don't actually blame JC for this, it just doesn't make any sense to me.
  24. I wasn't having a go at JC at all, its unsurprising, but nevertheless very much frustrating that the club continue to operate like this. We have the chance of signing a decent replacement for Hart, and leave it to the last second as per usual. It doesn't even make good business sense, but thats a whole other kettle of fish. The only reason I thought it may, and I use may very loosely, be clever was that, maybe they thought he'd read the press and possibly lower his wage demands? Naive I know, but I wouldn't put it past them.
