Sunday was a very pleasant surprise football wise, so i'd hope that there isn't much reason to change that against the bottom side. Absolutely offer him a contract now. If he can stay fit, he'll be one of the biggest assets in defence. As I said in the other thread, Devlin can GTF. Given both have bad injury records, i'd rather have one that adds to the team than one who doesn't. We are lucky to have him, but he's also lucky to have us. I hope he shows us the same loyalty when the offer is put forward. But please AFC, don't wait until the last few weeks.

This is my biggest issue with him. He does a lot of the work for the team and seems integral, but we need a scorer. It's going to cause us problems further down the line. McInnes always seems to revert to type when we have a tall player up top, so i'm slightly cautious about bringing Edmundson into the fold.

Back to league action after our exit from euro qualifying action. Haven't lost there since December 2016 and it's a fixture that usually provides goals (average 2.7 goals between the sides). Their form has been pretty patchy, and both teams got pumped in their last game. They are also just below us in the table and a loss could see us slip from fourth to sixth (if the Arabs actually win) I'd like to see us return to the 3 at the back and also keep the Wright / Hedges thing going. Sunday game obviously as both teams on european qualifiers duty. Their form has been patchy at best, whereas we've come out of our self imposed covid lockdown with a decent bit of form. We should beat them but having an away time in Europe ( I know they played in Norn Ireland) but we might be a bit slower out of the blocks.
