Decided to make a plywood bench seat to try and help utilise the kitchen table. Currently it's just used for storage but with the bairns about to start solids / use high chairs, it makes sense. Wanted to do this at christmas when I still had time, but there you go Will be using a combo of hand tools / cnc (just for the openings to get a clean and crisp finish). Unlike the bedside tables, I'll try and get photos up! Already added another cabinet to the kitchen as well as a wee bit extra counter space. For some reason the builder who owned it last time round put the cooker hard up against the end of the counter, which is actually really annoying when you're cooking.

Missed it yesterday, but doesn’t surprise me. City don’t tend to play much football, but this is a rare occasion I’m pleased Sydney won. City are owned by the city group, so fuck them. No idea when the league will kick off again. Lots of turmoil going on as it transitions from FFA ownership to club ownership. Rumours of jan, but fuck knows.

Very pleased to wake up to another positive result ? really hoping that we finally see some positivity from the manager and faith in the players he has. Seems like he may now feel he has the players to play the way he wants? Wtf was the hibbie thinking when he gave our own away? Fuck me, calamitous ? Ferguson was lucky though, was pretty central but who cares, it went in and we got 3 points, that’s all that matters . Agree with I think it was LA who said since the covid farce, we appear to have united and been playing better. Long may it continue. Jute, did your flag make an appearance on TV?
-
Fuck me. Was expecting some decent pre match chat in the thread. Enough of the AFC Chat shite already. I suspect Jute might be right re: DM will revert. He's always cautious and will be concerned about Doyle and thus it'll be a tight game. I know some hibbies always complain that we ruin "their" game when we play them. Hard to disagree that most of the recent matches have been a shite watch. 1-1, Consi

God I hope you’re right, Panda. It’s been excruciating to watch for the last three years. Especially since the players are better than the performances and style of play we were seeing. -
Opted to do it all by hand in the end! I’ve been meaning to post photos of them on here . Still standing and a really enjoyable process. Attempting some bench seating for the kitchen this weekend ?

There’s some really interesting teams in amongst that list. Superb result, just hope we can continue some of that into he league form. Tough I know given that the opposition were as pub like as we’re going to face. Looking forward to seeing all the goals, sounded like Hayes was a cracker. Only saw the first two goals before heading out the door. -

Game is live on Red TV for ST holders and intl viewers, others will have to make do with "Premier" sports. Surely we have to play two up top for this one? -

Not good news if mcginn doesn’t make it, although if there was a game (on paper) that he could miss, this would be it. -
Finished gangs of London the other day. Have to time my viewings for when the bairns are asleep. Violent as fuck but great viewing. Looking forward to the second series. There better be one!

They were truly brutal. Would be hard pressed to find a team worse than them. Regardless of the fact that they bet against themselves, I’m quite sure they were still that shite. -
I generally think it’s mainly your final point, we’re far too slow with the ball. It does seem like our players are quite static at times but I not sure if that’s just them or their instructions.
-
Be interesting to see if it was squad rotation or some get dropped altogether. Would be classic DM to drop Wright after scoring. The guy scores a good goal after some decent play, that’s what we should be trying to encourage. Seems like McGinn is possibly unlikely to feature due to injury, but that’s our only major doubt (apart from those already out). Anyway, this lot got pumped by hibs not that long ago so we really should have enough in the locker to see them off with a professional performance. Hopefully it’s just not boring as watching paint dry. Their form is a bit patchy of late, despite their 5-1 demolition of Barry town in the last round. Out bed work work 2-0 dons, Main and hedges
-
In theory it’s quite an attacking line up. Whether they’re allowed to play that way remains to be seen, but it’s an interesting line up to say the least.
-
As Ajja said in the chat, they own that competition. Mental how many times they've won it. Really enjoyable game. Certainly better than what the dons made me endure following the boys early wake up.
-
Nervous about playing Hoban but you make a good point TC, it could go at anytime. He's clearly the best defender at the club so we need to play him. Fuck knows who makes the team after that shambolic performance (despite 3 points). What's the deal with the players not passing to Hernandez? Seems odd, as I noticed it in the game.
-
Huge meh from me . On paper doesn't seem like he's what we need, but I'll be happily proven wrong. A few city fans seem to be gutted he's going but understood why he didn't get a game. So who knows. Welcome aboard.

Hopefully we actually have a striker by then

Said the same about Wright on fezbook and getting a hammering for it ? Guess some people just want to see what they want to see. Apparently it wasn't a horrific performance (it clearly was). Had that remained at 0-0 I'd have cursed being woken up early to watch that. nigh on 90 mins of eye bleeding shite. Thank fuck someone was willing to take a shot. Can't remember who it was (maybe McLennan) who got into a decent position and should have shot but passed it out wide. Kennedy put in a decent ball so i'm hoping it's a case of match fitness with him. Agreed with McCrorie, he pinged some nice passes that the team just didn't read / control, but hopefully with time that get's resolved. I'm cautiously optimistic about him as a signing. Hedges is a funny one. I'd be interested to see if he can maintain that level of performance from a starting position, or is he just a super sub? Wonder what changes will be made for Livi.

Wise move, we’re fucking honking. As well as anonymous

We haven’t used our ict feeder club links in a while. Route to success ?
-
Retard reporting that we're looking to have a striker in place ahead of today's game. Not sure if they're planning on picking someone on the drive down? ?
-
Game on Thursday, almost seems a bit of a side show with everything else going on
-
Not sure mate, doesn't seem to be happening to me, but that might be due to the mod rights. Does it happen all the time?
