Arab's haven't been very good of late so i'd hope we'd be giving a few of their former dons nightmares. Should have enough to see them off but it feels like we're always a bit off after international breaks. We started to come into a decent bit of form so i hope that continues. Certainly Consi should be buoyed by his decent international performance. Lack of goals will probably show up in this game so I think we'll win, but not by much. Absolutely, he did our club proud. Superb start to my day! I only watched because he got the call up as the national team barely register these days. But as I said, great to see him in the national jersey.

Happy enough with the deal. He’s a class act, no doubt about it but the club have to be cautious. Given how the club stuck by him during his rehab, I’d hope he’d repay that if it works out for him (and us).

I’d say I’m surprised he was discharged as early as he was, but I’m really not. Incredibly selfish putting those that are forced to work around him in imminent danger. Hopefully he suffers some serious consequences.

Didn’t enjoy the first but we finished the second half slightly stronger than them. Thought st Mirren looked very comfortable and I’d be gutted if I was a saint at losing that. Still, I’m not so I’m very pleased. Three great goals, obviously two for us being the most important thing. Some of our play was good but that killer instinct in the box was seriously lacking. Agree with jute that we looked much better with two up top, whether that was Edmondson per se I don’t know, but worked much better. Subs got the team playing the way it should do. Good to go into the international break with some confidence. Bring on the arabs!

Sunday was a very pleasant surprise football wise, so i'd hope that there isn't much reason to change that against the bottom side. Get at them from the get go and hopefully score a goal earlier than we did at the weekend. We've been linked with their boy Magennis, but i'm not sure it's a department we need to strengthen right now (even if we do ship one out). He's also not played since Jan so we don't need to be signing an injured player. They're on the back of five straight losses, so we really shouldn't have anything to fear. Absolutely offer him a contract now. If he can stay fit, he'll be one of the biggest assets in defence. As I said in the other thread, Devlin can GTF. Given both have bad injury records, i'd rather have one that adds to the team than one who doesn't. We are lucky to have him, but he's also lucky to have us. I hope he shows us the same loyalty when the offer is put forward. But please AFC, don't wait until the last few weeks.

Get Devlin to fuck. Shite attitude (from what i've heard) and has been shite for a good two seasons. Certainly not lived up to his original hype. I certainly hope Hoban signs on. This is my biggest issue with him. He does a lot of the work for the team and seems integral, but we need a scorer. It's going to cause us problems further down the line. McInnes always seems to revert to type when we have a tall player up top, so i'm slightly cautious about bringing Edmundson into the fold.
