We’ll ignore the fact that Azerbaijan is in asia, this is a huge euro test. On the back of the result today and potential injuries, it’s certainly been made harder. Hopefully the fact that so many changes were made we might find the form that our early season’s form has suggested. ive no doubt we’ll revert to as much of that same XI as much as possible. JET might get some confidence from his goal but can’t see it being transformational. We need to address the glaring shortcomings in this team if we’re to progress. Huge game. Get a result and we are on our way to a reasonable route. Was a massive victory last week and with some of the players being rested for the victory against Livvie, I wouldn't be expecting too much change to the one that finished Thursday. We definitely looked more composed at the back as a 3 and having Gallagher there, so it'll be interesting if he goes for the same starting four or revert to the 3. Brown has added a lot to this team so far, and I can imagine it must be hard for those that have opted to reduce their support because of his involvement. Hoping we manage to get a full house for this one, despite the prices. Be great to see one of the famous Aberdeen Euro nights. Breidablik have a game on Monday night, so hopefully they'll be tired. Not sure I quite agree with the reasoning. A lot of post-rationalising going on there. Had that been the huns (a la a couple of seasons ago or whenever it was), our support would have ridiculed them. In fact, we did ridicule them for it. And they thought they were going to win the league. We have no moral high ground now. I just hope we don't hear that a player has got covid. That really would fuck everything up, and for what? I get it, it's a moment of pure joy but there is a bigger picture here.
