  1. Mckenna is no where near as good as he was pre injury. I hope he improves, but he's been considerably lacklustre for the past year or so. Odd game he's done what I'd expect, second half he did but first he was embarrassingly bad. No one I know who isn't a dons fan rates him in the slightest. Definitely need to be getting as much as we can for him imo.
  2. Haha KFP, CtS is a classic DT'er so I wouldn't worry I'll admit, i'd written the match off (hardly surprising after that first 35min), but kept listening / watching as the goal by Gallagher changed everything. Pittodrie sounded great during periods of that second half. Huns are absolutely seething, it's great. I really hope that this proves to be a turning point in our season and proves to the team they have nothing to fear. We were unlucky not to win that.
  3. I really didn't expect that. Consi was superb and gla dot was him that scored the equaliser. Genuinely thought we'd fucked it after the first 30 mins but kudos. Just wish they'd started like that. Still see the point in Wilson though??? Fuck you ya hun bastards ?
  4. Agreed. Didn't see the goal coming at all. If we can fluke a result tonight, happy days. Need to show more fight in the second.
  5. Game over. What a pathetic start so far. McInnes you spineless cunt.
  6. We watched The Capture recently, really good series, although i'm not sure if it was BBC / ITV / C4 as it was on local NZ tv.
  7. Very much share that sentiment. I really hope you're right!
  8. Hate to say it, but the huns are in good form at the moment. Scoring plenty of goals and with our managers track record of trying stupid formation changes a game prior to playing them, it doesn't bode well. Only thing going for us is that it is at home. The team has the ability to play well, but i'm not sure DM will allow them to do it. Out House Travelling to work work 4-1 huns. Ferguson
  9. It's going to be a 5 nil humping.

    EPL

Don't get much time to watch non Dons / Nix football these days, but as much as it pains me to say it, Liverpool do play great football (from what i've managed to see). Even the most bitter manc would find it hard to disagree that they won't win it this year. And deservedly so.
  11. Strikers: Cosgrove 23 Anderson 1 Main 4 Midfield: Ferguson 3 Gallagher 1 McGinn 7 McLennan 3 Wright 1 Hedges 4 Kennedy 1 Defence: Leigh 2 Considine 6 McKenna 1 Taylor 1 Vyner 1 O.G: Killie 1 Hibs 1
  12. According to the beeb we were playing a 3-4-2-1 formation today which caused the team issues in the first half. In fairness, at home against a team like that is when you try it, but seems unnecessary.
  13. Tim mate of mine who is still very bitter about the way he left them. Was surprised he hadn't packed his bags for London already
  14. Apologies, its been a busy week. Last weekend was thoroughly uninspiring which wasn't fair on the fans or consi. Deserved more than that. Hopefully everyone gets what they want (apart from the saints) and we see a consi winner. Be nice for him to do in front of the home crowd. Dm needs to go for jugular. Out Bed Bed Bed 2-0, Cosgrove and mcginn
  15. Actually quite gutted about Gary rhodes. Phenomenal chef and was easily my favourite when I was growing up. Achieved a lot at aa very young age
  16. Superb that a guy plays this many games for one club these days. I'll not pretend I've not had my doubts over him during that time, but the guy is a Don through and through and living the dream we all so wish we could. There's no doubt that his potential was dented by continuous shuffling, but he wears his heart on his sleeve. There any plans for the club / fans to celebrate this against the saints on sat?
  17. You'd like to think we'd get a decent result there but as KFP said, it's always a tough fixture. Usually a snooze fest too. I'd happily take a 1-0 to try and maintain the good form they were building pre-waste of time break.
  18. 3-1 win against the kazakhs.
  19. Ooft, Pochettino sacked.
  20. Been looking at ply mainly for the aesthetic. Something both my wife and I quite like. Will be using an osmo oil or similar on to bring out the timber rather than laminating it. All ideas at the mo but will check out the video on YouTube, cheers The jointing methods just fascinate me. Clever stuff, really clever stuff.

    Films

Don't think it's out over there yet, but go watch jojo rabbit when it comes out. Taika waititi's new film about the end of the second world war. Very, very funny. Saw it at the weekend and would give it a solid 8/10
  22. Hearts game brought forward an hour? ?
  23. Nice one Rico. Nah, only reason why I said CNC was because I have access to one and fancied having a crack at it. But I do want to get into making some joinery anyway and probably have access to the relevant tools. Only thinking of making a few bedside tables and eventually a dinner table. But want to do a couple of test pieces. Any particular tips when dealing with plywood, or videos you recommend ? Or is it just a case of getting on with it and testing stuff out? Been trying to find good examples of screwless furniture, but a lot of it that I found online was pretty crap. Quite interested in the jointing techniques.
  24. Bit of a random one, but has anyone done any timber joinery themselves, in particular using a CNC machine? Looking to create some of my own furniture out of plywood but struggling to find decent videos on youtube. Any tips would be appreciated.
