  1. Why, why bring up the memory of that arsehole up?!
  2. Whilst the time of year isn't ideal, but it's great that the club are attempting this at least.
  3. That would actually a lolable situation. Although would be amusing if hearts stuck it out and got involved in a relegation playoff battle
  4. I see Ronald Hernandez, was in the side who knocked Miami United out of the MLS cup. Hadn't realised how star studded the Miami side was.
  5. Sakes, useless Killie Jambo bastards. Ah well, the 24 hours were good!
  6. Have finally watched the highlights back and being able to see the third I missed, what vision from nisbet btw. On a sixpence. Vinny obviously still had a decent amount to do, but that quick thinking is what we’re used to from Clarkson. Superb.
  7. Bump, in case anyone has missed this.
  8. Ffs, he definitely did appear to be a good guy.
  9. Would seem so there’s been more talk about a waterside stadium, which I’d imagine was the same conversation they were having when you were here! We know how long it takes to build anything in this country. The other thing I meant to add is that Aussie (and NZ) suffer from the lack of purpose built stadia. So most grounds are usually built with Rugby (any code) in mind rather than football. In Wellington's case, it was the opportunity for cricket and potentially AFL (never materialised) which lead to an oval. Nimby's prevented a purpose built 10k seater stadium elsewhere. Went to the women's game yesterday, as they play up the road from me on a site which would be amazing if they developed it. One of the players' dogs ran onto the pitch, definitely the highlight of the game. Love this league
  10. Nisbet, in fact all the subs deserve plaudits. All added to the performance when we were trying to ump the ante. First half was very even and seemed like a bit of a hangover but the second was more like it. As we’ve all said, can see there’s still plenty of work to do but at least we’re finding ways to win. Have to say, Dundee countered our press really well but thank fuck their pen was shite. my greatest joy so far is seeing how many different goalscorers we have. Everyone is pitching in. What a time to be alive.
  11. TOP OF THE LEAGUE
  12. Aye, United always have a good crowd. Think Hindmarsh holds around 15k, which is the perfect size pretty much for most teams in the league (apart from Western United and MacArthur who have no fans. There are of course exceptions (Melbourne Victory, western Sydney and possibly Auckland depending how they fare).
  13. Been quite the game, end to end at quite a pace. Made some decent changes and they’ve paid off. Missed the third goal due to one of my boys but pleased for vinnie! The first half I think it’s fair to say Dundee were the better side but only just. Minus the brain fade for their goal, we’ve been relatively in control of this half. Need to manage it a bit better though in the closing stages.
  14. Pretty poor in all honesty, but that’s also because most teams play in stadia they shouldn’t (I.e too big for them). But a few clubs have been run incredibly poorly of late. Feels like a it’s a bit of make or break for the league right now.
  15. Has that feeling of inevitability about it, doesn’t it?
  16. My concerns of him is he’ll do anything for power. No one actually knows what he believes and he’s proved he’s more than happy to change his spots to suit his desires. That, is a sign of a sick person who cannot be trusted. That’s why he’s ultimately more dangerous than trump. This isn’t a dig at you, as you’ve outlined why youve voted the way you have, as is your right. Back to why I’m most fearful is the biggest thing for me (climate aside which is going to suffer big time) is the abortion thing. Why the fuck do men think they can control a woman’s body? The shit that goes on in the US genuinely makes me think the rest of the world should build a wall around it. Honestly, I would not want a daughter over there. It’s bonkers. Truly handmaids tale shit.
  17. It's another death nell for the planet imo. He, along with all his authoritarian friends, will rape and pillage the world. Two countries will cease to exist next year and that will be directly due to his foreign policy and the friends he keeps. Clue, it's not the ones currently committing genocide. I don't envy the yanks, they were voting between two shades of shite, but I will respectively disagree that he was the less evil of the two. The media in the US is false, like much of the country but to say it was anti trump is laughable. CNN definitely. I'm afraid that you will soon realise that his policies and corporate tax cuts will do fuck all, the US is fucked. Isn't the debt 100% of GDP already? JD Vance is the one to watch out for, you're right. He seems like one evil fucker. Trump is just bumbling old fool, vance is the real evil.
  18. So I keep telling myself
  19. Was a shite ending to the game and set off what has turned out to be a shite week I think they'll do fine this season, seem to be well drilled, which you'd expect from a Corica team.
  20. Taken our time, but @tlg1903 you can rest easy now
  21. what a fucking shite week this is turning out to be.
  22. I didn’t actually realise it was a 530 kick off, means it’s watchable
  23. Fourth sell out in a row, pretty impressive, but more importantly, I hope we see a really positive reaction to us being absolutely pumped at the weekend. We’ve had a dream start to the season and it would be a shame for one result to cause the wobble. They can have their Diddy cup anyway Dundee came back from 2-0 down to beat killie at the weekend, so they’ll have plenty of confidence coming into this. After quite a varied October , they’ll be looking to push on. Obviously I’m hoping we put that to bed. Do we make some changes to give some of the team a rest and introduce some rotation or is a week between fixtures enough and put faith in those that failed last weekend but performed so well a few days prior? I’d prefer to see duk brought on as he’s more impactful then. Sylla was pretty robust last time around so expect nilsen to have to deal with him. I thought sokler played well on the weekend despite missing the chance we needed him to bury. out bed bed weather dependent 2-1 dons, Clarkson and sokler
  24. well, that was definitely not worth the wake up for. Been a shite weekend of football for me! Hungover and having to watch that pish. A hard lesson, but one we were going to be taught at some point. Lots of progress has been made and can’t let this derail the season.
  25. You'd hope so after sprinting down the touchline to celebrate the winner
