  1. Apologies, its been a busy week. Last weekend was thoroughly uninspiring which wasn't fair on the fans or consi. Deserved more than that. Hopefully everyone gets what they want (apart from the saints) and we see a consi winner. Be nice for him to do in front of the home crowd. Dm needs to go for jugular. Out Bed Bed Bed 2-0, Cosgrove and mcginn
  2. Actually quite gutted about Gary rhodes. Phenomenal chef and was easily my favourite when I was growing up. Achieved a lot at aa very young age
  3. Superb that a guy plays this many games for one club these days. I'll not pretend I've not had my doubts over him during that time, but the guy is a Don through and through and living the dream we all so wish we could. There's no doubt that his potential was dented by continuous shuffling, but he wears his heart on his sleeve. There any plans for the club / fans to celebrate this against the saints on sat?
  4. You'd like to think we'd get a decent result there but as KFP said, it's always a tough fixture. Usually a snooze fest too. I'd happily take a 1-0 to try and maintain the good form they were building pre-waste of time break.
  5. 3-1 win against the kazakhs.
  6. Ooft, Pochettino sacked.
  7. Been looking at ply mainly for the aesthetic. Something both my wife and I quite like. Will be using an osmo oil or similar on to bring out the timber rather than laminating it. All ideas at the mo but will check out the video on YouTube, cheers The jointing methods just fascinate me. Clever stuff, really clever stuff.

    Films

Don't think it's out over there yet, but go watch jojo rabbit when it comes out. Taika waititi's new film about the end of the second world war. Very, very funny. Saw it at the weekend and would give it a solid 8/10
  9. Hearts game brought forward an hour? ?
  10. Nice one Rico. Nah, only reason why I said CNC was because I have access to one and fancied having a crack at it. But I do want to get into making some joinery anyway and probably have access to the relevant tools. Only thinking of making a few bedside tables and eventually a dinner table. But want to do a couple of test pieces. Any particular tips when dealing with plywood, or videos you recommend ? Or is it just a case of getting on with it and testing stuff out? Been trying to find good examples of screwless furniture, but a lot of it that I found online was pretty crap. Quite interested in the jointing techniques.
  11. Bit of a random one, but has anyone done any timber joinery themselves, in particular using a CNC machine? Looking to create some of my own furniture out of plywood but struggling to find decent videos on youtube. Any tips would be appreciated.
  12. Just makes you wonder what they're trying to deflect our attention from.
  13. Just registered to vote by proxy. Have absolutely no idea who i'll be voting for. Probably the worst election I've been party to thus far.
  14. Ha! I missed the original post, but i'm guessing a Shakira reference interesting outing there Garlogie
  15. Who knows, at this rate, he might build his stock high enough for someone to take him seriously
  16. I think it was inside the box. Hard to be completely sure because of the angle, but it looked like his arms were inside the box. Looked to be a decent performance. Perhaps a bit fortunate, but good on the team for pulling through. You could see the ref was having a bit of a shocker. Great goals by McGinn and Consi, who is my player of the season so far. Was it Hedges who went to dive on the pile and completely missed it? Hope we can continue this form post wast of time international week. Edit: goals:
  17. Serious own goal on our (his) part. Very good wins for them, terrible for the rest of us.
  18. County have had a fair few 2-2 draws of late, so wouldn't surprise me if this was a score draw, however I do think we'll leave with 3 points. We seem to have a bit of swagger back, so it'll be interesting to see if this continues. Wouldn't change much from the starting line up tbh, may as well see how it goes and whether Main and Cosgrove can actually develop a partnership. Out Bed Bed Moving 2-1 Dons, Hedges and Cosgrove
  19. Pretty much summarises how I feel. My thoughts are now moving to that we need a foreign manager. One that doesn't have any inferiority or historical respect for the two cheeks. Finding a Scot to do that is nigh on impossible, from the UK, I don't think they'd have the balls. It all kinda makes you feel hopeless because this is exactly what we knew would happen and our chairman was complicit on the outcome.
  20. Hadn't realised they'd refused to wear their medals. pricks. Glad the saffa's won, entertaining game.
  21. Fuck me, what a result to wake up to! Did not see that one coming. Killie having their own defensive injury crisis had a helping hand in sure, but that main goal was really well worked and finished. Kudos to the team!
  22. Hilarious that he's still seeing out his contract though.
  23. Killie are a funny team at the mo, much like ourselves. Don't see a winner a here either, score draw written all over it. We played well yesterday, would be nice to see that continue. Hopefully bryson is fit enough to play. Out Bed Bed Bed 1-1, hedges
