We were fucked from the outset and our recent form has just been exposed. Absolutely shite from front to the back, a lot of pretenders and imposters out there. As good as the Germans were, we were horrendous, I genuinely can’t recall a moment of positivity, other than the final whistle? Thank fuck this guy didn’t become our manager. also, I don’t buy into this let’s have a sing song and dance whilst we’re being pumped. It’s shite. Needless to say, it was a fucking shite start to my day on a hangover

Library pictures pal have serious fucking fomo from watching all the videos and seeing the photos. Cunts. Good news is that the game is on council tv here, HWFG

Think it’s a bit of everything : - manager turned to shite - didn’t get the move he probably thought he was going to get - believed his own hype robson ruined plenty so I’d hope that Thelin might be able to get a return to his previous form. I’d like to sell as soon as we can to get at least a return on our investment though.

Any highlights for this one?
-
Hands down. And as I said, it doesn’t make me think less of him. He’s always been a Tim, but never stopped him from putting his all in for the team.
-
Shame he's not sticking around, big heart and no one can forget what he did for the club / fans during Covid. It does irk me that he's likely joining them, but it won't tarnish my image of him. I've no doubt he'll be a good coach.
-
Can't really complain about it in all honesty. We did well with the initial deal and I hope he manages to get a decent club. As you say, certainly shouldn't be short of suitors.
-
Thoroughly depressing to see how this squad is panning out
-
And it stays safe for another year
-
They’ve had many a shite keeper. I’m only assuming Bournemouth will loan him out, but seems like he may even come in and challenge their current crop. Missed opportunity for us imo.
-
Talk about falling upwards.
-
Guess it depends if he’d kick his grannie or not. Not interested otherwise.
-
Well, seems like we've well and truly missed the boat with the Nix keeper. Linked with Chelsea, Liverpool and Bournmouth. The latter being owned by Foley who also own Hibs, Lorient and the newly form Auckland FC. I wouldn't see him coming back to play in the a-league, but I'd be pissed off if he was in goal for Hibs. Also, fuck Foley.
-
Does amuse me that the weegia are even attempting to link Miovski with the Huns . Not a hope in hell he goes there. they haven’t a penny to rub together.
-
McGarry can actually play in this system...
-
Get it done. I was happy to eat humble pie as I was absolutely wary about signing him from a relegated team. But he’s proved me wrong.
-
That’s quite depressing tbh. Not sure how the club can really justify it. How much do we spend on the football operations? I’d imagine that must be more?
-
This was the equalising goal. Weirdly, aussie TV had guys in a sydney based studio, so didn't have the mic feed from the ground and their sound was bloody quiet. This is the kiwi one, stadium went berserk.
-
Haha as I’ve always maintained, I was surprised we went for him. Wasn’t even the best kiwi left back or left back at their club. These guys are destined for the top.

Nix hosted the semi final of the play off series on Saturday, having finished the season in second (just missed out in being champions). Have to say, since moving here, that was my best and legitimate football experience here. 33k folk in the stadium (add 30 odd Melburnians) creating some noise. Nix equalised in the last minute of added time, one of the best bounces I’ve had. anyway, players I think that should be on our radar: - Alex Paulsen - gk, young so has plenty of time to develop, but great shot stopper and can play with the ball at his feet. Been no.1 all season and best keeper in the a league. - Finn Surman - CB, has a British passport and rumoured to be heading to the championship. Think he could do with another season here but one for the future, only 18. - Ben Old - pacy winger and can dribble through a defence with ease. Got pace to burn and excellent feet but again, think he could do with another season to realise his full potential. Also young. a league is going through financial trouble, but nix are in a good place with a good academy now bearing fruit. Won’t be seeing many big names (although Auckland may try to differ) playing in the league, so big focus on youth. Interesting times ahead.

Decent haul in the end although the defence could have chipped in with a few more. Given how Duks season went, I’m surprised he even got 7, but it’ll be interesting to see how the forward line up looks next season. Fingers crossed sokler can pick up where Miovski inevitably has left off.
-
Thank fuck that’s the season done with. I saw some mad stat that sokler hadn’t scored in the same comp all season?
-
Whilst it's put him under a wee bit of pressure, we still needed to remain in the division. I'm glad we've had the opportunity for some of the players to flourish at the end of a miserable season. Watching the nix this season sounds very similar to how Thelin will play. Allow the opposition plenty of possession and low percentage shots, draw them in and smash them on the counter. Not sure if we have the defenders to play the ball out from the back, but I am really intrigued to see how this pans out. I hope he doesn't throw everything out, because we've clearly found something that works. Maybe this is the style we play against the lesser teams and adopt his traditional style for the like's of the cheeks (weegie and edinburgh).

I did enjoy that it was at the end of the end var flag on the merkland last night. That’s the only thing. VAR is horrendous in Scotland, get it in the bin.
-
You’d like to hope that he’s seen what fergie for example has done and found a pathway. I’d like to see how he develops over time, but an exciting prospect that’s actually delivered. I remember folk screaming about lanky shankland saying how good he was, but he never ever took his chances. Kudos to fletcher, already done it. enjoyed the highlights, the team really seem to be playing with some freedom (I know it’s livi and it took conceding to do it). Nice pre season anyway, hopefully they carry it on into the next. Was a bit cut up seeing Hayes sat on the ball after the game. What a guy.
