  1. Really hope they get a better owner this time round.
  2. Couldn't really care less about the naming of the pitches, I guess if that makes the fans feel better, then it's a smart move by the club. I suppose it makes sense if they're going to be used by the community / public at some point.
  3. Would take any money for him. Don't rate him and the manager doesn't appear to know how to use him either. Best for all parties if he moves on.
  4. So back to league action this weekend after the...highs...of last weekend. I've missed not having any euro qualifiers this week, although given our last few performances, my blood pressure hasn't. Killie are pretty pish this season, but then again, we've not exactly set the heather alight. Hopefully the win last weekend gave the team a wee confidence boost. Really need to start and find that feel good factor we had after Hearts. Out Bed Bed Bed 2-1 Dons, Cosgrove and Hedges
  5. I'm not against it, he's stumped up a decent whack and will probably become chairman eventually.
  6. Saw McCardle play for Bradford a couple of times against Millwall. He was a good solid CB, but that was 4 years ago now.
  7. Sad to see so many NW English clubs struggling badly. Bury are due to be closed at the end of the week. Shit state of affairs, as it's the fans that suffer, not the owners.
  8. Welcome to the A-league. VAR, a system developed for the TV audiences.
  9. Celtic fans would drive him to us. Yes, he's that bad. I'd much rather Ambrose if you offering either of them.
  10. Christ, those highlights really were as bad as you'd all made them out to be. However, bottom line is, DM managed to change it up and we got a result. Somehow, we're through and that's the main thing. Bonus missing either of the cheeks, but we'll have to be much better to get a result against Hearts.
  11. Strikers: Cosgrove 17 Main 1 Midfield: Ferguson 2 McGinn 3 Wright 1 Hedges 4 Defence: Leigh 2 Considine 3 McKenna 1 Vyner 1
  12. Whilst I agree with most of what you have said LA, I think if the fans start turning their back on the club in their droves, they'd have to look at it. I'd imagine regardless of actual squad depth, we're probably paying a fair whack for a number of those players. Drop in ST sales would have hurt them already. That said, would that offset what they'd have to pay him off after offering him another ridiculous deal? No.
  13. Hendry!?! Fuck that. I'd rather the cash. One of the worst footballers around.
  14. Meant to add, Hearts first team through to the 1/4s after beating motherwell 2-1 last night.
  15. DM said it in his presser, but didn't look up from the table as I'm guessing it was the post matcher from Thursday. I'm very much sceptical it'll happen.
  16. Probably shouldn't be setting this up with the mood I'm in, but whatever. Just hope we manage to conjure up some sort of performance. So much negativity (justified) around the club at the moment. The club owe the fans a number of performances after another pathetic attempt at trying to qualify for Europe. Out Out Out 1-0 dons, mcginn
  17. Have a feeling you won't be the only one to do that
  18. DM clearly hasn't learnt a thing about how to play in Europe. The fact we've never made it beyond the 3rd round qualifiers is terrible.
  19. How many shots on target have we had over the two legs? I stopped listening at about the 75th as my redtv cut out.
  20. Pathetic goal to give away. Team have completely bottled it.
  21. Agreed, it worked to a degree in the first half, however for the second we should have come all guns blazing. We (the defence in particular) buckle under pressure. Every single time.
  22. We usually average around 15k for euro ties don't we? I'd hope a few more buy some on the day. The team need all the help they can get. Lord knows the manager won't
  23. Celtic. Out
  24. So how are ticket sales for this? Can't imagine Sundays result helped matters. Really need a strong performance from the outset. Its all in the mindset, if the manager wants it and plays to the teams strengths, then we've got a chance. I'm not confident in the slightest mind, 3 unanswered goals is a tall order.
  25. Watched the highlights again last night, truly abysmal. Although I'd like to see the main goal from a different angle. Didn't look like the keeper had both hands on the ball. As it stood, whilst we were unlucky not to get something from the game, we were honking and didn't deserve it. The buddies missed a number of chances similar to Sam in the first couple of euro games. Truly lucky to go in just the one goal down. Seriously need to buck up our ideas on Thursday. Dm cannot be that pig headed to think we can sit in and hit on the counter. They're really not that good.
