  2. Hate this argument that people always use. So if we scored another and won 2-0 it would have been alrite? If Pawlett got booked and it wasn't a pen the match would have been entirely different and not necessarily finished 0-0. Just as if he hadn't been wrongly sent off the match would have been entirely different. Aberdeen and Pawlett are being punished for the referees incompetence. If the referee did his job properly Pawlett would have finished the game, allowing us to continue to attack to try and get a a goal instead of 10 men behind the ball, and we would have him available for the next 2 matches just like Hibs have O'Connor available. Does Stevenson not get booked for diving when Pawlett slide in? That conned the ref into thinking there was contact and giving a red. Do we not get any sort of compensation for losing Pawlett for the rest of that game? Hibs benefitted from that decision as much as we did to get the penalty. We got one chance on goal from the ref and took it. They weren't able to convert any of the multiple chances the ref gave them in the last 25 minutes.
  3. Aberdeen have declined to appeal the 2 match ban for Pawletts "dive" FFS
  4. and he's just signed Eggert Jonsson
  5. At the AGM it was mentioned that the Police up here would be favourable to the idea. Sounded like AFC were one of the clubs pushing the idea to the SPL. Maybe the police can see the stewards trying to get folk to sit down are causing more problems than if they just let folk stand in an area where they weren't blocking anybody's view.

  7. There was no mention of safe standing areas being put in place at Pittodrie. The club seem to want it but it will be at the new stadium, not Pittodrie. Milne mentioned the football budget was only surpassed by Rangers, Celtic and Hearts and pre-empting the inevitable question of "why are we not 4th then?" Brown said the board can't be accused of not supporting him financially and he had to take blame for the league position. Said the board backed him as soon as he arrived by letting him bring in McNamee and Steven Smith and also this season bringing in Gonzalez, Fallon and Chalali as "extentions" to the budget. Knows the budgets at other clubs have been reduced because of the reduced TV deal but Aberdeen's hasn't.
  8. Just back. Nae much to report but in any case... Stadium - usual shite. Project starting in April if the funding is in place. Ongoing process. The level of debt after the move to the Stadium and Training Centre to be the same or lower than current levels, with that debt being in the form of a long term mortgage. I guess the idea is a mortgage at a payable level (i.e slowly reducing) is favourable to the situation we are in now with the debt increasing year on year. Safe standing area is something the club have been in favour of (and think the local Police will be favourable to) and now the SPL has giving this green light they will consult with fans in these roadshows and regular fans meetings as to the logistics i.e how many seat are sacrificed to standing areas, home fans only or away too etc. This was mentioned in relation to the new stadium and not Pittodrie. Number of youth changes being discussed at national level. Under 19 league may be replace with an U20 or U21 league with the option to play a number of overage players. The intention there is players who reach 20 who aren't quite ready for first team action still need somewhere to develop. Currently they either sit with nowhere to play and don't develop or even get released at 19. U19 season may be increased from 22 games to 33 and be held in the first team stadia instead of at places like Balgownie. Fraser Fyvie only player this season to be fined. Brown mentioned all other reds players were just following instructions. Pawlett was told to not allow the fullbacks to get an easy clearance up the line and was trying to block. Jack was going for the ball v Inverness and wasnt fined for the Parkhead overcelebration. He seemed most annoied with Considines red card. Little and Miller seemed to take exception to a tackle by a Hibs centre back later in the game which only got a yellow. Brown encourages the players to not appeal for decisions and not get involved in discussions with the ref but feels we are being seen as soft instead of fair. Had discussion with referees official today regarding this (I assume when discussing the Pawlett appeal) Football budget kept at same level (and apparently stretched further) even though loss of tv money means income is lower. The 2.5m loan from AAM and SMG is to meet the shortfall there. Brown defended the budget and held his hand up for complaints to be directed towards him instead in that area.
  9. Sproule and Stevenson have both admitted there was contact at the penalty. I dont think either has claimed he dived and even at the time they were claiming they got the ball, not that he dived. At worst it was a fair tackle which the ref got wrong.
  10. So is this like the Ultras Red Army 12?
  11. Vernon for me. Good touch, good movement trying to make things happen and knows where the goal is. Osbourne and Brown also played really well.
  12. But he was only going to win the league for his own supporters!

  14. You had a go at me for criticising an aspect of the team selection - because we won. You sugest that because we won we can't possibly have any negatives in our team/performance.
  15. Another worrying part is where the bill is applicable - It's not just inside or immediatley outside grounds. The police only have to "believe" you are intending on going to, or are coming from a match (including to and from a pub or friends house to watch it). They do not have to prove you are.
  16. Hibernian (Home) WIN Inverness CT (Away) WIN Hearts (Home) WIN Dundee United (Away) DRAW Kilmarnock (Home) LOSE Rangers (Away) LOSE
  17. Nah there's another reason for it. They don't sell normal U12 tickets on the gate at any games for the same reason. I don't know what the reason is though.
  18. Everything's fine guys. We beat St Johnstone 2-1 so shut the fuck up if you have anything to say about the teams performance or team selection. Brown, Milne, Clark & the rest are legends. Stand Free. Fuck sake.
  19. Has there ever been a more appropriate sponsor for a football club than Hearts'?
  20. A stroke of genius if you like conceeding goals. Jack did well in midfield. Osbourne did well going forward from right back, but he was poor defensivly being beaten many a time and is to blame for the goal conceeded. But you know, Jack sCoReD frOMz da HalFweY LineZ!
  21. BBC have said Osbourne is RB and Jack in the middle. Fucking retarded. (Brown that is, if he is RB)
  22. Say what you want about the Board being inept cunts. They're not the ones failing to identify fullbacks and wingers as the downfall of our side and playing Chris Fucking Clark week after week.
