Went to see Ed Byrne last night. Was better than I expected him to be as I thought I might have heard most of it before on Mock The Week/Live at the Apollo etc. but I had only heard only 1 or 2 gags before.

Link the two and take MiniJC with you.
  6. I questioned why you weren't protesting after the game yesterday. You didn't answer but I guess it's because your mates weren't either and you have low self esteem and they were all away with their birds (gay).

  16. Drivibng along the beach at 10 past 5 and looked down to the main stand. Nobody there, unless they were all hiding behind the police van.
  17. Be better phoning up the shops. They have a lot more stuff in the shops than they have on the website.
  18. I'm in no way a "JIG'er". I cringe at what the guy says in the media and am as puzzled as most by many of his tactical changes. I just don't see what replacing him with another manager will bring the club apart from additional costs and at best, a few months of anticipation until fans are calling the new appointment is as "imcompetant" as any of the other appointments in the last 20 years. So we'll maybe finish a few places below last season but to go crying "he's taken as far as he can", "we're going backwards" is premature. Look at 05/06 where we finished 6th and look at what we did the following season. Which club in the SPL has made progress on the field season on season? Queen of the South, Queens Park, Dunfermline all keep being mentioned as reasons for him to go but in my eyes those games are not representitive of Jimmy's time here. You could swing right to the other side and look at the wins at Parkhead, Tynecastle (which we hadnt done for donkeys years) and the home form vs Rangers. The true representation of Jimmy's time is somewhere in the middle of all of this. What AFC needs is European qualification on a regular basis. We've all seen what affect the Uefa Cup run had on our finances and if we could acheive that a couple of seasons in a row we would be in a financial position to push for "the next level". Until that time, fighting for the Uefa Cup spots is where AFC will be year on year, and that's where we are right now. If there was a manager around who I thought would be interested in the Aberdeen job, and who would do a better job than Calderwood then I could understand fans wanting him replaced. I just don't see who there is out there.
  19. That's more to do with Severin playing in midfield rather than us missing McDonald a huge amount. If we played Duff, Young, Vidal, Sammy fucking Stewart instead of Severin we'd be missing McDonald a lot less.
  20. I'm not Kerrs greatest fan but he was our MotM last night. Always looking for the ball and never giving up despite doing 2 players' job. Scott Severin was an absolute joke. He had 1 or 2 decent passes but 10+ hoofs to nobody. He barely moved his arse all day too. Even if a player/the ball was within 5-10 yards of him he was expecting someone else (kerr) to go for it instead of moving his own arse. If another of our players has the ball he stands still looking for the pass, usually about 3 yards away from the guy with the ball anyway when he should be looking to move to create space for himself or his teammates in midfield. He then proceeds to stand with his hands on his hips or pointing the blame for his own lazyness at someone else. The amount of times he was so far behind play was unbelievable. It's no coincidence that our poor run of form has coincided with Severin's move back to midfield. One of the worst ever performances I've witnessed in an Aberdeen shirt, and I've seen some shite. The most depressing fact is that he'll be the first name on the teamsheet for Saturday anyway.
  21. Diamond and Mulgrew need dropped for Saturday or we'll be lucky to get a draw. Move Severin back to CB as he's been shite in midfield since me moved back and have Considine at left back if fit, Foster if not. Duff and Kerr centre mid.
  22. Only if it's away
  23. Any testimonial for Mackie needs to be against a side of old players. Esson, Morrison, Muirhead, Payne, Michie etc.
