Hopefully Broon and Knox take Ifil out and call in the firing squad, that would mean we would probably need to keep Diamond IMO. Considine and McArdle/Diamond gives us a bit of cover but not much. I think Broon will have ideas already about what needs to be done so I'll let him get on with it and see how he sees things. Lets face it we cant get any worse! Can we???

Young is not the most talented player at the club however at least he gives a shit which is a lot more than the majority of our squad. I would guess there are players way ahead of Young, who's heads are on the chopping block!

He's been a decent player for years however he is very injury prone. Even at St Mirren he struggled with injury at times. Certainly a welcome edition to the squad if this is true. I wouldn't be surprised if Broon and Knox have been given reassurances of funds, or at least wages being made made available to get the right players in. Why else would he have taken on the poisoned chalice? Hopefully a couple will even have their contracts terminated in January as well. Maybe, just maybe, this could work in our favour and as KGB touched on, Broon and Knox witnessing such dross yesterday may have them back at Milne's door asking for even greater financial backing. Finally can someone tell me what this great unrest is within the squad? I would love to know!!!

In my opinion, if you get rid of Ifil you will get rid of the indecision and fear in our defence. I am extremely surprised that Simpson and Cooper played him today. Ifil is just simply a liability, a complete liability. Back to basics, Zander Diamond and Considine in the middle of the defence. McArdle is not as bad as people like to make out at right back and as such I do not believe that is a position that we need to fill. We are screaming blue murder for a left back and preferably one with experience. Yes I appreciate Zander has had a bad season to date but playing with Ifil must be torture. Hopefully he can rediscover some resemblance of form with Considine at his side.

Thankfully I decided to save my pennies today and didn't travel. Christmas is a costly enough time of year without having to drown your sorrows after another humiliating defeat! I despair!

Hi Guys, new on here, just popped in to say I'm delighted to learn of the new management team. Fingers crossed they inspire our stuttering stars and we can start to climb up the league. Is Europe out of the equation?
