Everything posted by Mackie's ace!

  1. The other time was in the ICT - Killie game though.
  2. I see they had a penalty decision overturned again.
  3. Not any less than if they'd actually let it go ahead today.
  4. It's dark, what do you see? The game went ahead when Scotland played Canada, I'm sure it'll be okay unless there's a major snowfall overnight.
  5. Trains from the south are fine, it's Inverness line that's been on and off all day. Pitch was clear on North Tonight.

Albyn Place/Queens Road was jammed from before 4pm. A few people who stay out of town left early cos of the A96. Heard stories of people taking an hour to get up Queens Road to pick their kids up from school.
  7. To be fair, if we finished 2nd and the difference between 2nd and 12th was less than a million, people would be complaining about that too.
  8. If you Google Jaegermeister the first result is the official site too. It would be poor marketing if mispellings weren't built into search tags. Try searching for Aiberdeen FC...
  9. Brilliant goal by Higdon. Mackie chance that was shown was a good save, I thought, he had two defenders on him and Pressley putting in a challenge. I've seen far worse Mackie misses than that.

We got a firm-wide voicemail in the morning warning us not to come into work if it was going to be dangerous, then an email in the afternoon re-stating the fact and that if the weather was bad tomorrow again to stay at home. Apparently the London offices were pretty much empty today, wimps.
  11. I'm in Inverness that weekend, only reason!

    Aye somewhere like that!
  13. That too. Maybe I should change my username.
  14. I want ICT away in the next round.

Been snowing a little tonight already.
  16. I am not a Mackie 'fan', despite my username, but ajja's sensible post summed it up for me. He's not a worldbeater, never will be, but he does a job for us to the best of his (limited) abilities. And after 10 years at the club, if he gets a testimonial, then it's only right we support our team and our players. Booing him? Get a grip. (And I wasn't drinking - just fed up with some people's attitudes on here!)
  17. Yeah, I forgot how nobody wanted Anderson.
  18. I think the "anger" some people have over Mackie getting a testimonial is getting out of hand. He's been at the club for 10 years, therefore he is due a testimonial. Get over it. How many people stay at one club that long these days?
  19. Maybe, a radical thought, Falkirk just played better than us?
  20. I wish I had water last night.
  21. At least we have the option of bringing Aluko on which might be more effective as the ageing Falkirk defence get tired...
  22. I'm sure Hebrew would like a strip from our best player too.
  23. For whoever asked, Miller swapped shirts with McCulloch at the end. Seemed a bit strange. I think Langfield wil be fine, he was out on Saturday night and just had bruising and a few stitches in his lip.
  24. Well the players would obviously have to be small too, if they were 6 foot the story would sound a bit suss. But if you're good enough, you can make it. Jamie Smith is a midget and he's a good player who happens to have injury problems, Barry Nic isn't a big guy...I'm sure you can think of plenty too.
