  1. I reckon this "too small" nonsense is made up by kids who are gutted not to have been taken on by us, it sounds like pish to me. One of my friends is friends with that Paul Coutts boy and told me that story last week.
  2. Is the Gilcomston Bar the hang out for OF buses before games? I saw a few buses waiting around when I passed on Sunday and have seen a Rangers bus getting lost in Rosemount before so I guess it was trying to go there.
  3. Are you single handedly supporting the economy of the North East?? Wow! You definitely deserve credit for that... Carfin, featured recently in Taggart? Anyway, should you not have supported Motherwell, as your local team?
  4. It was the same size of font the whole way through...excuses excuses. Good reason = police rules. Database schmatabase.
  5. I think part of the stupidity is that you can't expect to take a child to the football and shield them from bad language for 90 minutes. It might be sad, especially in the family end, but it's fact. Did your kids notice what was being said btw? Did you try and do anything about it, like say, leave?
  6. Continuing to laugh at United, saw a link to this story from the Guardian on BBC: "Craig Levein's Tannadice revolution is gathering pace, writes Ewan Murray" Not any more. Ewan Murray's a complete wanker anyway, and a Jambo. His match report (http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2009/jan/18/aberdeen-celtic1) suggests we didn't deserve to win. At least he gave Mulgrew man of the match.

    Said Glasgow, not Edinburgh.

The weather in Aberdeen this morning made me think I was in Glasgow.
  9. Trev, it's a nice name.
  10. You'll be quoted on Sportscene again, you're being watched!
  11. They don't like a tackle?
  12. Fine for me! Commentary is funny. Brown could have done better at 4th goal.
  13. As posted on the website yesterday. I don't know what the harm is, but I assume since this is only a rule for OF games (and it is always a rule) that it is dictated by the match commander.
  14. Always been the rule for Old Firm games, and stated on the website.
  15. If you have some confidence in your team, you get rewarded with days like today. Great game, entertaining, totally deserved the win based on most the game. Mark Kerr was a very lucky boy - didn't look such a bad tackle from the RDS but watched the replay on the TVs in the lounge behind me and the ref could easily have decided it was a red. Great goals too. Thought McDonald and Kerr were good, and Diamond although he had a bit of a shaky opening spell. What was his celebration about? My MOTM was probably Kerr. Also, was a bit surprised about Duff coming in to the staring line up, but thought he played well and merited his place. Same team for next week.
  16. This thread has just been quoted on Sportscene (mizer, bobo and Padre all got mentions) but he said it was from Hat!
  17. Was quite surprised at the length of our highlights compared to the Caley v Partick game. They didn't even show a replay of the penalty!
  18. I have a wide selection I believe might be recommended. Ding Ho (made with Tanqueray of course, none of this Gordons crap), or maybe a White Orchid, served straight up? Of course there's always a creation by an influential bartender that you could try...
  19. Well done Lee!
  20. Both got assists though.
  21. Cool.
  22. He was wearing tights in Madrid!
