The only game cancelled because of the weather was St Mirren.
Motherwell was CIS semi final weekend as mentioned. And it was v. Gretna, the shitest team in the league.
And I wasn't studying at 13.02 on 06/05/08 as I was very possibly having a lunch break before my last university exam.
Agreed.
I had a Hun telling me that the fixture build up was due to groundsharing agreements being allowed in the SPL and that because this didn't happen in England and the better weather the further south you go that's why Man Utd and Chelsea weren't getting games postponed for the CL. I soon pointed out they hadn't had a game cancelled due to the Motherwell pitch (or have they?). And that nowhere north of Glasgow postponed any games because of weather.
Can you imagine if Rangers win, and the equivalent article in 25 years time?
'Aye, so we went oot and got a chippy and a bottle of bucky the night before the game...'
The team from November's game was Langfield, Hart, Considine, Mair, Byrne, De Visscher, Nicholson, Touzani, Young, Aluko, Maguire.
This team is probably stronger.
Langfield, Duff, Touzani, Considine, Foster, Nicholson, Severin, Maguire, Young, Miller, de Visscher.
Soutar, Bus, Walker, Lovell, Scott Ross on the bench.
Let's hope we only need to use 2 subs.
I'm struggling to remember when I've had much good to say about Severin. Not quite as vocal as BTR about it, but feel he's not played at his best for most of the season.
Maybe lover was going too far...believing Severin gets unfair criticism versus other players, perhaps. Like Diamond.
Either way, Duff seemed to do alright on Saturday.
