Good man - let me know if there are any developments - though don't worry if you can't help, I'm sure I'll cope anyway!
-
Course she is. Obviously not a jinx anymore either........ (did you get that PM btw?)
-
He did look very impressive Reekie - comfortable on the ball, and certainly has the ability to go past a man. Was a little lightweight when tracking back, and if he wasn't running at a man, more running alongside him he was quite easily nudged off the ball. He'll do for me though.

100? Ah bollocks, there's no way I'm getting a seat then.....
-
With the quality of photos that have been emerging from the Ukraine. Did Jimmy Nicholl take them all on his phone or something? They all seem to be really pixelated and 'blocky'. Wouldn't have got that standard of image if Mizer had been there.........
-
And I'll bet the 77 are all players voting with different IDs! :hammer: Different IDs? There must be close to 77 different lithuanians there........ (I voted for Lithuania)

Hibs side that lost 5-1 away to Dnipro on 29/09/2005 Malkowski, Beuzelin, Caldwell, Murphy, O'Connor, Riordan, Sproule, Stewart, Hogg, Thomson, Whittaker Hibs side that lost 4-0 away to Aberdeen on 29/04/2006 Malkowski, Shields, Caldwell, Hogg, Murphy, Whittaker, Konde, Glass, Sproule, Fletcher, Riordan 7 players in both starting line-ups. I'm not sure how the Dnipro side now compare to then, but just a warning not to read too much into one result!

I can't even make it to the home game as I am down in London/Peterborough for work. The draw couldn't be worse, away tie that is too costly, and home game when I am in feckin England.
-
Motherfuckers. Ain't going to Ukraine cos it's too expensive, and can't get to the home game because I'm away with work. Hope to fuck we make it to the groups now so I can at least get to a game!
-
That should matter with our group should it? I still don't like David Taylor. This is going to take ages like.
-
It seems to be more dead than usual on here, but I will try it anyway. Does anyone know if it is the team that comes out of the hat first that has the home leg first?
-
So we have the following; Bayern Munich (Munich, Germany) Club Brugge KV (Bruges, Belgium) SC Heerenveen (Heerenveen, Holland) FC Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk (Dnipropetrovsk, Ukraine) PFC CSKA Sofia (Sofia, Bulgaria) Munich, with the 2nd leg away is my preferred option, but guess we'll just have to wait and see....... Think we might be able to make a game of a couple of those, doesn't look over promising though!

Caps under Vogts mean nothing. Even I got one. Only one? You must be shit! I got 14!

Is This The Official Site For Dons Fans....
chunk replied to SeeBass's topic in Aberdeen Football Club
Haven't tried in ages to be honest. Have the occasional wee peek at home though, still seems to be the same conversations that were going on when I was there! How many times has minijc been banned now? Since my work blocked the site though, I appear to have got a lot better at my job......... -

More like abuse, abuse and more abuse nowadays with almost every thread spoiled with petty squabbling. Bit like Donstalk was for a while not too long ago. Stop K-9, you're making me pine for the place! -
Is that not Derek Young's job?

When I was in the Olympic Stadium in Berlin the Enrgie Cottbus fans had a guy with a megaphone at the front getting things going and, as was mentioned above. Helped generate one of the best atmospheres I can remember in a 3/4 full stadium. I suspect some of the supporters of opposition teams might find it quite an amusing concept, but having seen it in action, if it works, it's a cracking idea.

Half-time Clydesdale bank crossbar challenge
chunk replied to mizer's topic in Aberdeen Football Club
Who is doing it in your absence? -
This is why I think the 'Thug' factor is the only possible reason for the orange one's haverings. None of these guys - while some are strong and athletic - are 'hard'

So we're going for big Irish diddy then? Was really just trying to get into Calderwood's head on this one and see where he's coming from, and that's the only explanation I can come up with, and it does explain why we have never bought a hulking big centre back in the close season, especially as I think JC believes we need one. Was the boy he tried to get from the Pars not a bit of a bruiser? (was it Shields? I can't remember) Anyway, I tend to agree that it's a fucking stupid idea, but almost, just for a second there, I thought I had maybe got to grips with how the tombola works.....
-
Following JC's comments on Richie filling Russel's boots, it got me thinking. Ok, he's not the composed, calm positionally aware defender that Cadger was, but he is a big brute of a cunt - how many folk have been saying we need one of those? Also, I have heard numerous people over the last couple of seasons say they thought bid Dick's best position would be centre-half. Stick him in their next to a ball player like Karim and you might have a solid partnership. Or you might just have a big Irish diddy and a Dutchman.

I think the third top looks a bit yucky. Don't know what it is, just not a fan.
-
Wise up, 1/4 final?? I would rather save them for the final. But that way they wouldn't visit Pittodrie...........
-
Aparently the only action around our goal from the match v Locos... It's more the fact I can't really remember the last time we had a keeper who would list that as one of his skills........

Yes, it's very fast now. Apologies for taking 5 months to get round to posting this.
