Cameroon beat Gabon 1-0 in final game of the day. Entertaining game and meant avoided most of the Christmas tv. No games until Boxing Day now.

    AFCON 2025

Senegal win 3rd game 1-0 in torrential rain. Senegal on top for most of game and should have won by more.
  3. Not many of the Hunbo’s drink up on Rose Street. They all drink towards Haymarket and Dalry Road so should be fine.

    AFCON 2025

    Finished 3-0 to Algeria.

    AFCON 2025

Algeria 1-0 up at half time and Sudan reduced to 10 men. With some of tackles they have been putting in I will be surprised if they reach 90 with 10.

First game has been a bit shit. Equatorial Guinea down to 10 but Burkina Faso not not been able take advantage.

    AFCON 2025

Senegal won second game 3-0 but really should have been more. Miles ahead of Botswana. Nigeria beat Tanzania 2-1 in a game that was a lot closer than I was expecting.

2nd penalty of the tournament awarded to Mali but like last night Zambia keeper saves it.

    AFCON 2025

Mali v Zambia game is being played in almost empty stadium.
  23. 3 points off top so definitely in the title race. League race down there looks like it will decent this season.
  24. Bit in bold is where I am at the moment. I want it to work with Thelin but less and less confident it will. The recruitment over the summer definitely has not helped with players brought in not being good enough or ready for first team football but Thelin has not helped himself with stubbornly sticking to a formation, initially, then sticking with trying to play out from the back with a goal keeper who is clearly struggling with it. I am not sure giving Thelin another window will suddenly make us progress but at the same time do not want to back to square one by sacking him.
