  1. Glass saying Matt Kennedy in contention to play tomorrow.
  2. Jack Milne recalled from his loan at Brechin City.
  3. Looks like no new players in in time for this one. I was not impressed by team performance against Hibs or Dundee. Thought we created very little in either game. Was hoping we might get in some creative players before this game. oot work tv flat 0-2 no Dons scorer
  4. Not that bothered about McGrath himself not signing more that he is type of player we need. Hopefully club have another target of similar type identified that can be brought in quickly.
  5. £30k transfer fee allegedly. Administrators reducing costs by selling off anyone they can get a fee for. Wigan are 3 points off top in league 1 with 5 games in hand so probably only a temporary step down for Shinnie.
  6. Derek Soutar.
  7. I have a feeling they may go for Rooney who seems to be doing well at Derby despite the financial difficulties and will also appease the fans who were raging at the appointment of Benitez in the first place.
  8. Duns team still going Seabass? They had but decent ground in place before they withdrew from East of Scotland league a few years back.
  9. No surprise Benitez gone at Everton. Was never working there.
  10. Yes. Almost threw the phone across the room in rage.
  11. Ryan Duncan played 90 minutes of Peterhead’s 1-1 draw with Clyde. Kieran Ngwenya played 90 minutes of Kelty’s 2-2 draw with Edinburgh City. Evan Towler played 90 minutes of Elgin’s 1-1 draw with Albion Rovers. Mason Hancock played 90 minutes of Stirling Albion’s 3-3 draw with Stranraer. Tom Ritchie was in goals for Huntly’s 3-0 defeat to Rothes.
  12. No but neither are Newcastle. Some poor teams in bottom third of Best League in the World ©. Have Everton sacked Benitez yet?
  13. Clark a cheaper option than Lewis is my guess. Lewis definitely a better keeper so unless Lewis has asked to be transferred/released cost reduction is only thing that makes sense.
  14. Devlin just can’t stay fit. We signed him injured and injuries have prevented him getting any sort of run with us. Giving him another deal is a really odd one.

    Coronavirus

Was feeling fine next day. Only got a very mild dose. As expected the 10 days of not getting out the house was the harder bit but as I currently work from home that did take us some of my time so did not watch as much Netflix as I thought I might.
  16. Mark Gallagher recalled from Forfar.
  17. Clever move as at worse it handicaps one of their relegation rivals even if Wood does not workout for them. £25m for a 30 year old striker is mental though.
  18. Which is what I was coming on to say. I am not convinced he was ever really our player and have a feeling that this maybe the same for our new midfielder as well.
  19. Aston Villa sign Kerr Smith from Arabs for £2m. Apologies for source. https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-transfer-news/kerr-smith-sign-aston-villa-25914817
  20. Sam Cosgrove has turned down a move to Dundee on loan. https://www.thecourier.co.uk/fp/sport/football/dundee-fc/2898843/dundee-transfer-news-ex-aberdeen-sam-cosgrove-snubs-dundeefc/
  21. That’s surely not right. He is our contracted player.
  22. Jack MacIver recalled by Dons from Huntly to join first team squad. Another central midfielder. https://www.huntlyfc.co.uk/index.php/news/club-news/2902-loan-signing-returns-to-parent-club
  23. Bit in bold is way I see it as well. Not expecting this lad to be an instant hit but as long as wages are not excessive one that could have a big upside for the club if the lad can be developed and copes with the transition to playing professionally. Only thing is he is another central midfielder. Got loads of them and we really need to be looking at getting in players for other areas over the midfield.
  24. Evan Towler played 90 minutes of Elgin’s 2-2 draw with Edinburgh City. Due to COVID isolation never got a chance to see how he did. Kieran Ngwenya played 90 minutes of Kelty’s 3-0 win away to Stirling. Mason Hancock was 63rd minute sub for Stirling. Jack Milne played 90 minutes of Brechin’s 1-0 defeat to Formartine.
  25. College game I went a few years ago was similar to development league game here.
