Victims battering Slovan Bratislava in CL. Currently 4-1 up and could easily be another couple ahead.
Meanwhile in EFL cup Spurs are losing again. Postecoglou will be coming under increasing pressure.
Looked solid enough for his first game. Think he will need to have a few games to get used to speed of game here. As others said on match thread I think he looks more a defensive holding mid than a box to box player but that’s based on one game only.
Think we should start with strongest side available get the game put to bed then make changes. On that basis if Shinnie had recovered from whatever the illness was then he should come back in for Palaversa. Once we are two or 3 up then make changes if we need to. Easier to defend a lead than have to bring players on to chase the game.
Saw Spartans draw 0-0 with Peterhead a couple of weeks ago and can’t say they really had anything that should frighten us. Jamie Dishington and Blair Henderson are their best players along with Hamish Ritchie but he is injured currently.

If Clarkson is fit would like to see him coming in for Gueye and play in behind Striker with McGrath and Keskinen wide. Nisbet’s goal in the last game would see him getting nod over Sokler for me as our striker.
As Manc says Motherwell seem to be in decent for and can see this being our toughest test so far. However to add to our problems I am also going to game which usually ends badly.

Rubi playing for Montenegro against Wales currently. Wales 2-0 up after 3 minutes. Rubi partially at fault for first and struggling to cope with Kiefer Moore in opening exchanges.
So 1 win in 14. Sat too deep at start of second and the inevitable equaliser arrived courtesy of another shot Gunn should have saved. He then redeemed himself with another couple of excellent saves and we did get up the field a bit for awhile but slowly got deeper and deeper and Portugal just kept coming down our right to go after Ralston and eventually got a cross in where McKenna switched off and it was 2-1. Seen some in press describe it as a positive performance but would argue that 2-1 flattered us and if Portugal had a decent striker or Ronaldo in his prime we probably get hit for 4 or 5.
Christie would be one to drop out for me. Being an EPL regular should not guarantee you a start. Gauld offered more than Christie on Thursday so should get the start in my opinion.
Christie is 8/1 to score anytime before anyone asks.
Comfortable 1-2 win for Spain in the end who had some really good players and way they moved ball seemed effortless at times. Mebude took his goal welll for us and looks like he might be one for future but that was probably our one real chance. Jack Milne came on for Calvin Ramsey (who played well) at right back and did struggle positionally and kept drifting inside. Just increased my concerns about cover at right back for Dons.
