I genuinely have no idea how we won that. We were awful for huge chunks of the game. As Rico said Clarke got almost every call wrong but we somehow won 3-1. Makes a change to coming away wondering how we lost I suppose. ETA so now win on Sunday and Denmark beat Greece and we are guaranteed a play off plus a potential winners takes all game against Denmark at home for the group.

While Karlsson did have a good game on Sunday I would say any praise should be tempered by how poor opposition was. Definitely signs there is a player in there but bit early to be comparing him to Super Hans.

Just cannot see Clarke going away from three at the back.

SSN suggesting Gerrard is in London today for talks with Blue bigots. Gerrard flopped in Saudi and not sure he is one to work with a squad that needs to be developed.

Think we need to approach this in similar way to the game in Copenhagen as when we opened up against them in March we got thrashed. Goalkeeper is major concern as none of them are playing for their clubs. Gunn is now third choice at Forrest, Kelly is 2nd choice at Blue Bigots and Gordon is second choice at Hearts. Not a great position to be in. Hickey is fit so should start at right back with Robertson at left back. Would like to see 3 centre backs as Tierney McKenna and Souter but know Clarke will want Hanley in there. Midfield is interesting one with several of the players playing well. McGinn especially is playing well at Villa. Striking options are pretty limited as always but at least all are playing and have scored. Would expect Clarke to stick with Che as starting striker. Greeks will have been stung by defeat by Danes in last round of qualifiers and looking to get back on track. A draw might be result that suits both. Dylan Lobban signs a contract extension. Hopefully find away of getting him game time to help with his development. Thought he looked decent at Cove last season so happy with this.

Martin signed a 3 year deal in June and he lasted 123 days of that. They are going to have to pay the rest of that 3 year deal up. They really are a bin fire.

Wonder if they will go for McInnes as a way of killing two birds with one stone.

Think that looks like 4 at the back with Jensen and Karlsson as width in midfield but not sure. Would really have liked 2 up front against Dundee.

Goals again for Marshall (equaliser against Thistle for Arbroath) and Bavidage. Do we look to bring both back in January to bolster the squad. Think at a minimum we should be looking to extend Marshall’s contract. Radio praised his performance again yesterday and as I have said before think there is definitely a premier league player in there.

As much as Thursday was an improvement our opponents suited our style of play as they dominated possession. Not going to be the same today as it will be Dundee who will sit in and be happy not to have the ball. We need to find a way of creating space in Dundee back line. Hopefully Devlin will be able to start as he offers so much more than Jensen at right back. Not sure we need 3 centre back against Dundee so could we drop Dorrington and brining in Nisbet to play alongside Lazetic up front?
