  1. Would like to see the baseball bat wielding thug dropped as don’t think his form has been particularly great but not sure McCrorie and Bates are going to right pairing to cope with Wells big strikers. Would like to see Watkins and Ramirez tried as a pair as not convinced at all by Ramirez in the lone striker role. oot train then beers Sunderland v Accrington Stanley beers then train 2-1 Well Watkins with Dons goal.
  2. Chief exe steps down only months after leaving SRU to join Victims. https://www.skysports.com/amp/football/news/11787/12404157/dom-mckay-steps-down-as-celtic-chief-executive-due-to-personal-reasons
  3. Messi with a 3 goals last night overtakes Pele as all time international goal scorer in South America. First is some goal.
  4. Just looking at flights just now to ensure I am there when we blow it.
  5. Great result on back of an extremely soft penalty. Israel match is now massive especially with their goal difference being advantage being wiped out by a 5-0 thumping off Denmark.
  6. VAR penalty has Scotland 1-0 up. Never a penalty. Fully expect ref to even this up at first opportunity.
  7. Finished 1-1 with Turkey equalising in second half. Scotland had some decent chances to win it.
  8. Scotland 1-0 up Glen Middleton with the goal.
  9. U21 team for game against Turkey.
  10. Given we have taken in a player who has only scored against Tonbridge in the FA cup in two spells in the English lower leagues to take his squad place I would say he has already been asked to leave the last chance saloon.
  11. Listening to Clarke and Calum McGregor on SSN there both mentioned how important it is not to lose. Clarke also expects a back lash from Austria after the gubbing they took at weekend. Fully expect us to set up negatively.
  12. U21 game live on BBC Scotland channel at half 5 today. https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www.bbc.com/sport/football/58451121.amp
  13. Had forgotten about Rooney. Also a far better option than Paul McGinn.
  14. Ruth away to Falkirk on loan.
  15. McGinn ahead of Ramsey is just mental.
  16. Agree with Rico one of few pleasures from last night was watching Gilmour in the flesh. He is a great player. After watching Patterson last night he is a good player but Ramsey is already a better player. We have a real star on our hands and Scotland are well covered at right back now. However overall last night was very disappointing. Despite having a number of shots very few actually troubled their keeper. We will not get anywhere near as many chances in Vienna on Tuesday. I am not convinced any of our strikers are good enough to convert any of the few chances we get.
  17. Well that was pish. From the Omni shambles trying to access the ground to finishing the game with 5 defenders on the field against Moldova. Did their keeper have a decent save to make. Not a chance we finish better than 4th in this group.
  18. I only got the message during the maintenance. Been fine since.
  19. To be fair to Clarke Nisbet was injured for Wednesday night but agree he should be getting more game time than he does. Tierney did have a poor game by his standards. Has his confidence been knocked by mess Arsenal seem to be in. Wednesday showed again we have not got the grass routes development right. Denmark have a similar population size to Scotland but regularly produce teams that are better at football and more tactically aware than us. Very few if any of our squad would have got a game for Denmark on Wednesday. No idea how we put that right but not running the game for the good of two clubs might be a starting point.
  20. Lewis Ferguson now a full international.
  21. Been better in second half but that’s mainly down to Denmark fucking off to the pub at half time.
