The rumours about Glass being lined up to replace McInnes have been on the go for months but if your naive enough to believe it’s just pure coincidence that these rumours just happen to have landed on the best candidate for the job then fair enough.

Really the chairman’s mate who everyone knew had the job was the outstanding candidate. Sure he was. Oh well fingers crossed this punt works.

So the manager of an MLS development team was the best candidate for the job out of the alleged 100 plus applicants. Sure he was. Cormack’s puppet installed. This just reeks of jobs for the boys. TLG of course the Atlanta employee talked up another Atlanta employee. Hardly an Independent assessment. As for Brown if he was such a great leader why has he not been able to get his fellow Victims to give a fuck this year and why did he not show leadership in refusing to defend the racist Tonev. Just another jobs for the boys appointment. Really hope I am wrong but this has total disaster written all over it. At a minimum there must be an experienced director of football appointed to deal with recruitment who has experience of British and European markets.

Think we have to ask the question of Neil. People do change their minds about things. Neil’s style of football is different to McInnes and he will have the contacts in England and Scotland to bring in the players we need for squad rebuild quickly.

That was McInnes’ coaching team and his squad so that was a McInnes performance today. We have been stinking for months and us being 4th is more a reflection of the shitness of the rest of the league than our good play. McInnes needed replaced as he clearly could not halt the decline. The only thing that I would say was the timing of his removal. If new manager is not already lined up we would have been as well as letting him stay until the summer.

Another poor performance. Beaten by a very average United team. This squad needs gutted in the summer. Definitely not a job for a development team manager from the US.
