Which contradicts what ticket office told me on Friday. Oh well.

Weather not in looking great for tomorrow. Wonder if there is a chance of this being called off. Rubi, Nilsen and Palaversa all back from suspension which is a plus but countered with Mitov being out and potentially Sokler. Genuinely no idea how we will line up or what score will be if it’s on.

Kye Rowles allegedly leaving Hearts for MLS with fee rumoured to be in region of £600k. Replacement Jamie McCart from Rotherham United.

To answer my own question no cash gate for the away end on Sunday. Was going to be last minute before I knew I could make this but decision made for me now. Seems odd that clubs are making it difficult for folk to attend games. Not as there is any chance of this selling out.

That first half was very poor from us. Created very little and defended poorly. While Wright’s goal was a wonder strike the build up to it involved Doohan flapping at a cross and our defenders and midfielders having several chances to go out and close the ball down but to a man failing to do so. Second half we actually created several good opportunities for our strikers but Nisbet and Ambrose managed to miss them all. Duk was unlucky with shot off the bar but his dive just before he was taken off was criminal. He was passed his man and decided to dive instead of driving into the box. Special mention to McDonald who managed to produce an even worse performance than he did at Kilmarnock. Looked completely disinterested and clearly knows he is on his way out. Said a while back this poor run of form was Thelin’s first big test and at the moment he is failing it. Club need to get him in new players that can play the system he wants to play urgently and he needs to get them playing well quickly or we are in danger of falling out of European positions or even the top 6.

Is there a cash gate for this?

Rubi is showing has having 7 yellow cards so assume there is a suspension in bound. Palversa only showing as having 5 so think he is one away.

Just left Stonehaven and it’s snowing. How’s it in town?

Rumour doing the rounds that Dundee getting Calvin Ramsey on loan from Liverpool.
-
St Mirren first out the blocks for January window signing forward Owen Oseni from Gateshead. 12 games in 24 games in National league in England.
-
Season long loan.

£600k was what I was expecting so happy enough with that. Think you are right about any non payment being deducted from prize money but SFA have to agree.

Rooney punted by Plymouth. Got to think that’s him done as a top level coach.

Whilst we were better on Sunday than previous game (which is an extremely low bar) we still created very few clear cut chances again. Not sure how we change that but we need to as losing can become a habit just as much as winning. No idea who starts but just need to find a way to win then get new players in. County seem to be very up and down form wise and were probably unlucky to lose in Dingwall earlier in the season. Hopefully we catch them on a dip. Not sure if going yet and no idea of score.

As long as we have a replacement coming in if he does go then to bothered.
-
Millwall appoint Alex Neil Can see him wanting Nisbet back.
-
Thing is Nilsen got a 10 day rest in middle of December with rest of team and seems to have come back worse. I am not sure a short rest will do him any good. He probably needs to have a longer spell out the team but cannot see Thelin doing that.

Going to go against grain here and say that we never looked like scoring today and United always looked like they would eventually get something.. Jimmy needs to get reinforcements in early in January or we could drop further down the league. Fact we cannot defend a throw in despite having all our players in the box is really concerning.

Sydney v Melbourne Victory been decent despite the red card. Sydney not putting game away until towards the end. Better crowd and atmosphere today.

Seen some wild team suggestions on line. McDonald was hopeless on Thursday and surprised to see folk suggesting sticking with him. Even wilder is folk suggesting bringing McGarry back into team. At least nobody is suggesting continuing with Ambrose who I think needs to go out on loan in January as he needs to be playing every week to try and develop his game. As much as I am not keen on Molloy and Rubi as a partnership at the back think we need to stick with it until we can get new players in. In midfield we again need to change something but Palaversa has made us worse when he came on in recent games. With Nilsen being booked again he has suspension coming up so not sure manager will drop him for this one so might be Shinnie who drops out with maybe Polvara coming in. I don’t think we can have Morris or Duk starting for this one as neither do enough defensively to support full backs which we will need in this game. Think it has to be McGrath and Keskinen wide. Duk has some of his best games through the middle with Miovski beside him so maybe try Sokler and him together for a couple of games in a 4-4-2. United in a good run of form so would expect this to be a difficult game even if we were still playing well. Given our collapse in form fully expect to lose. In Train then pub Away end Train back to capital 2-0 no dons scorer.

Just brought myself to watch highlights and McDonald looks even worse than he did at the game. Rubi was not much better. Hope this Latvian is decent. Devlin looks like he is playing injured as he wasn’t as good as he has and most of Killie’s good play came from his side. Not helped by Duk or Morris not bothering to track back admittedly but not his usual self. However main issue seems to be teams have figured out our plan A and at the moment we do not have a plan B.

My daughter had the Santa tracker on and we told her we knew people who would be getting presents when he arrived in New Zealand. Turns out she wasn’t far wrong when she asked if they would be up soon. Looks like you were.

Would disagree on Mackenzie. He and Devlin were our most consistent players prior to MacKenzie’s injury. The MacKenzie’s shite chat only started when it became clear he was leaving and not on back of poor performances.
