Millwall appoint Alex Neil Can see him wanting Nisbet back.
-
Thing is Nilsen got a 10 day rest in middle of December with rest of team and seems to have come back worse. I am not sure a short rest will do him any good. He probably needs to have a longer spell out the team but cannot see Thelin doing that.
-
Going to go against grain here and say that we never looked like scoring today and United always looked like they would eventually get something.. Jimmy needs to get reinforcements in early in January or we could drop further down the league. Fact we cannot defend a throw in despite having all our players in the box is really concerning.

Sydney v Melbourne Victory been decent despite the red card. Sydney not putting game away until towards the end. Better crowd and atmosphere today.

Seen some wild team suggestions on line. McDonald was hopeless on Thursday and surprised to see folk suggesting sticking with him. Even wilder is folk suggesting bringing McGarry back into team. At least nobody is suggesting continuing with Ambrose who I think needs to go out on loan in January as he needs to be playing every week to try and develop his game. As much as I am not keen on Molloy and Rubi as a partnership at the back think we need to stick with it until we can get new players in. In midfield we again need to change something but Palaversa has made us worse when he came on in recent games. With Nilsen being booked again he has suspension coming up so not sure manager will drop him for this one so might be Shinnie who drops out with maybe Polvara coming in. I don’t think we can have Morris or Duk starting for this one as neither do enough defensively to support full backs which we will need in this game. Think it has to be McGrath and Keskinen wide. Duk has some of his best games through the middle with Miovski beside him so maybe try Sokler and him together for a couple of games in a 4-4-2. United in a good run of form so would expect this to be a difficult game even if we were still playing well. Given our collapse in form fully expect to lose. In Train then pub Away end Train back to capital 2-0 no dons scorer.

Just brought myself to watch highlights and McDonald looks even worse than he did at the game. Rubi was not much better. Hope this Latvian is decent. Devlin looks like he is playing injured as he wasn’t as good as he has and most of Killie’s good play came from his side. Not helped by Duk or Morris not bothering to track back admittedly but not his usual self. However main issue seems to be teams have figured out our plan A and at the moment we do not have a plan B.

My daughter had the Santa tracker on and we told her we knew people who would be getting presents when he arrived in New Zealand. Turns out she wasn’t far wrong when she asked if they would be up soon. Looks like you were.

Would disagree on Mackenzie. He and Devlin were our most consistent players prior to MacKenzie’s injury. The MacKenzie’s shite chat only started when it became clear he was leaving and not on back of poor performances.
-
McKenzie is still coming back from injury and not been as good as he was before it but needs a bit of time. McGrath was poor today but players who came on were not any better.
-
Maybe didn’t want to risk a player just coming back from injury on that carpet.

4-0 flattered us. So many of our players looked completely off it. Why anyone would start Ambrose after Saturday is beyond me. McDonald on his wrong foot was never going to work. As has been said subs should have been made at half time but not necessarily players who came on and off. Palaversa does not look a £700k player never mind a £7m one. Teams have figured us out and manger now has massive test ahead of him. I fear United may be passed us shortly.

Mitov being back has got me feeling a little more positive but not much.

Think everyone in Europe knows Tribute Act are broke again so maybe best not to tell them we are waiting for cash from them.

Merry Christmas folks. Just about to work out cooking time for everything for dinner. 10 year old been up since half 5 this morning. No chance Inam staying awake through dinner.
-
Fucked if I know. I have been drinking since 9 am. What day is it now?
-
Chris Harvey reporting Mitov will be back for Thursday.

Dunfermline sack their manager.
-
I think McGrath’s drop in form has come since he was moved out of the middle to accommodate Clarkson. Although McGrath can play wide I think he is at his best in the middle and Clarkson just has not been as effective.
-
This is going to be massive test of managers ability to lift players after a very poor performance from most of team. Devlin looked like he was nursing an injury that got worse as game went on and he was limping as he went off. If he is not fit got no idea who will go at right back. Rubi probably needs dropped for that performance on Saturday but not convinced McDonald or Molly have strength to deal with Vassel. In midfield I just don’t think we can play Clarkson and McGrath together. Needs to be one or the other. For me has to be McGrath central and Clarkson who drops out. I would also drop Nilsen and play Palaversa. I had hoped the rest might of helped him but he again looked off it on Saturday. Upfront no idea. Need to pick one of them and stick with him for a few games. Killie on their carpet is normally a difficult game but given how error prone we have been can’t see us winning. In lift down Away end lift back to capital 1-0 no dons scorer.

Jensen only managed 5 games in Denmark and not played any of games since October so not convinced he is answer.
-
I would think the an experienced centre back will be moving up the list rapidly. McDonald is clearly not seen as the answer by club so think we do need one. However with Devlin clearly playing with an injury yesterday I still think a right back is a priority. Striker is also clearly an issue because even if Gueye comes back from injury in the same goal scoring form we still need cover as Sokler, Nisbet and Ambrose are not the answer. Although the constant rotation of strikers has not helped any of them. Maybe need to just go with one of them for a few weeks to try and get some confidence.

Finished 2-1 to Atletico Madrid putting them top of the league with their 12th win in a row. Cracking game with 3 really good goals

I thought Hibs dealt with Morris easily when he came on. He and Duk offered little today. Just a real bad day at the office.
