  1. Trying not to think about this one. If Victims score early we could be in for a right hiding. No idea how we will line up. Hate saying this but if anyone is carrying knocks or short of fitness I would rather they sat this one out so they are ready for Saturday which is a much more winnable game. Victims are nowhere near as good in previous seasons but still to good for our current shower. No PPV offered by Victims for this which is probably a blessing. Oot Working Radio Flat 3-1 Hendry.
  2. Bit gutted this is off as would have interesting to get the details behind the figures mentioned in statement tonight. https://www.afc.co.uk/2021/02/14/qa-update-from-the-chairman/
  3. Manchester United held to a draw by West Brom today which leaves Manchester City 7 points clear with a game in hand. It will take a monumental arse collapse for City to blow it now.
  4. That was eye bleeding stuff. Why did we punt long balls in to a wind like that. Ball should not have left the ground for 90 minutes. Agree with LA that Kamberi and Campbell get pass marks. Rest were awful today. Kennedy on the left is not working. We need to get him on to right side. As for Red TV guys they were clearly under instruction to talk the game up at all costs.
  5. Red TV guys said they can’t make out formation.
  6. Miller reckoning it’s 4-4-2 on radio.
  7. 3-5-2? Surprised at Kamberi being pitched straight in with him not having played since December. Thought he might start on bench.
  8. Took his appearances from soccerbase which is usually accurate. https://www.soccerbase.com/players/player.sd?player_id=85672
  9. Kamberi hasn’t played since 16th December so will be nowhere near match fit. Would be big risk starting him tomorrow.
  10. According to P&J Kamberi will be available for tomorrow. https://www.pressandjournal.co.uk/fp/sport/football/aberdeen-fc/2896861/loan-striker-florian-kamberi-receives-clearance-to-play-for-aberdeen-against-st-mirren/amp/?__twitter_impression=true
  11. Don’t see it with Hendry. Charges about a lot but think he is a red card waiting to happen. Would rather we stuck with Ruth if running about a lot is all we are looking for. At least we would be giving game time to our own player. Think there is a player in Hornby but not sure where he fits our team.
  12. Like Moreles before him Roofe given two game ban. Press really need to start asking why refs are missing so many decisions like this in games involving the blue bigots.
  13. Bayern win world club championship beating Tigres 1-0 . Pretty disappointing game. Bayern doing just enough to win.
  14. Thinking about it. Question about relationship with Atlanta how holding a player like Hernandez benefits Aberdeen.
  15. I don’t think we should ever sign squad fillers. Any signing should be a player to take the place of the existing player in that position and that player becomes your back up or is moved on. Any other gaps should be from our own youngsters and not players on loan from other premier league clubs. (ETA unless it’s a try before you buy deal like McCrorie.) I thought Leigh was a poor player last season even when at left back. Was disappointed when we resigned him.
  16. With Hornby allegedly being sick all week it’s is likely to be St Johnstone’s 4th choice striker up front from Saturday unless we go with McGinn.
  17. At last a piece of good news. Greg Leigh out for the season. https://www.eveningexpress.co.uk/fp/sport/football/aberdeen-fc/donsnews/aberdeen-defender-greg-leigh-out-for-the-season-with-a-hamstring-injury/amp/?__twitter_impression=true
  18. Another dodgy penalty. No contact on at all on Taylor when he went over.
  19. To be fair I think it was Rico that first brought up the inverted wingers and I just agreed with him. Really need to see a reaction from the team from management down but I thought that after Livingston and we actually got worse not better. Hopefully Kamberi will arrive this week and he will be available for Saturday to give us another option up front. Really think we need to go back to 4 at the back. Oot park with bairn tv flat 1-0 Ferguson.
  20. Three was fine when it was Hoban, McKenna and Considine but now McKenna is away Taylor doesn’t have the positional discipline to play a three and Leigh is just shite. Agree we need to go back to a 4. I would have Hoban and Considine as centre backs and Logan and Hayes as fullbacks. Would think 5 in midfield (call it 2-3 if you must) is best option with the players we have. Not convinced that any of the three strikers are suited to play as lone striker but don’t think we have option of going with two strikers if we are abandoning 3 at the back.
  21. Tommy Wright confirmed as new Killie manager. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/55963647
  22. Yup usually the kiss of death.
  23. Looked better than anything produced by either of our forwards in last two games which makes him good enough for Aberdeen at the moment.
  24. Anderson playing full 90 minutes for Accies this time. Played well forcing McGregor into several good saves including the one he parried to Callaghan for the equaliser in the 1-1 draw with Tribute Act.
  25. Tommy Wright about to be appointed Killie manager according to BBC. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/55939904
