  1. Ah forgot he would be back from suspension. Therefore replace McGinn with him.
  2. Saw elsewhere that we have not scored in last 300 minutes of football against Motherwell and nothing I saw on Saturday convinced me that won’t be extended for another 90 minutes on Saturday. We look clueless upfront. If Taylor’s injury means he will miss games I would rather we went to a flat back 4 rather than have Leigh in a back 3. Would go with Lewis Logan Hoban Considine Leigh. McGinn Ferguson Wright Campbell Kennedy Cosgrove Don’t expect McInnes to agree. With Livingston picking up points against Celtic we really need a win to try and keep in front of them before the double header. oot flat tv flat 0-0

    Snow over night Edinburgh again.
  4. Apparently they watched him against the Tribute Act. No mention of a bid which doesn’t surprise me given how poor he was.
  5. Motherwell drew 1-1 with the Tribute Act today. Tribute Act look like they are already coasting to title in mid January. Sickening.
  6. The long contract was definitely a mistake as it removed the pressure to perform. Failure to get third this year will be a disaster financially as it gives us almost guaranteed group football in Europe in either Europa league or Europa Conference. Thing is I am not sure changing manager now would make us anymore likely to finish 3rd as an new manager will be stuck with same squad we have now. I would think at a minimum board should be telling McInnes now that this team must finish 3rd if he is to continue in the job.
  7. McCrorie allegedly left ground on crutches with ankle issue.
  8. I seriously doubt we can afford to pay up his contract with 18 months to go.
  9. I think Ferguson and McCrorie have been shite today. 4-1 against County should be a sacking offence.
  10. Hayes off injured.
  11. Loads of the ball but needed own goal to get back into game. Main and Cosgrove up front is clearly not working.
  12. Cosgrove and Main again. ?
  13. Looks like they might be in the shite again as they are talking about suspending the Championship. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/55684189
  14. Assuming that this will be the same team as was going to start on Wednesday although do we really need 3 holding central midfielders against County so might see Campbell dropping out to be replaced by McGinn or McLennan if either are fit. County have looked really poor in the previous 2 games so not expecting Hughes to make much difference. Oot Flat TV Flat 2-0 Wright and Ferguson.
  15. This explains the above.
  16. Signed on loan for Northampton Town for rest of season. https://www.ntfc.co.uk/news/2021/january/ryan-edmondson/
  17. Derby County not able to pay wages of players for December. Surprised they are only ones so far. https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11696/12187058/derby-unable-to-pay-first-team-in-full-amid-doubts-over-club-takeover
  18. Some of the defending from Santos was outstanding. They gave Boca very few opportunities and when they did they were throwing bodies in to block shots. Two Paulista teams in the final being played in Rio.
  19. Trump becomes the first US president to be impeached twice.
  20. Ref saying there was a layer of ice on the field and it was players who asked for game to be called. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/55532175
  21. One of the great myths of these pitches is that they are all weather. They freeze easier than grass pitches for starters and also become unplayable in high temperatures admittedly less of an issue here. The only reason clubs fit them is to save/make money.
  22. Still more likely to score than Main. Although I will give you different shades of shite really.
  23. Cosgrove dropped instead of Main is odd.
  24. Weather forecast suggesting there is potential for snow in West Lothian so hopefully this is still on.
  25. Watched the Copa Libertadores semi final between Palmeiras v River Plate last night. Brilliant game despite the constant stoppages for VAR reviews. Palmeiras were 3-0 up from first leg but River went at them from the off and were 2-0 up by half time. They then scored what looked a perfectly good third goal which was eventually chopped off by VAR as a River player came from an offside position in the build up to intercept a pass by a Palmeiras defender. River were then reduced to 10 men. Next River were awarded a penalty when River forward was brought down in the box. However after another lengthy VAR review it was decided that when watched in super slow motion from one angle that the forward dragged his foot to draw the contact so the decision was over turned. Neither of decisions in my opinion were clear and obvious errors. Game was played at a fantastic pace though and well worth sitting up to 2am to watch. Second semi final between Boca and Santos is on BBC iPlayer tonight at 10:15pm. Hopefully it will be as good.
