  1. Hearts making a tit of Europa conference league. Currently 2-2 at home to a team from Moldova and going out of Europe.
  2. Sort of suggests they were working on replacing O’Neil for a while.
  3. Lost count on the number we have had since we created the post.
  4. Stick this in here as it might affect the transfer window. New head of recruitment appointed.
  5. Got to assume we will be getting a few in this window. Squad was always thin and recent injuries have just highlighted that. Hopefully the work has already been done and some of the new players will be in early in the window.
  6. Only tickets left in section Y in the South and RDS upper which is decent effort. Think Nilsen is suspended for this one so would expect Palaversa to come in for him. Hopefully McKenzie is fit as McGarry hasn’t been anywhere near as effective at left back. Think Keskinen and McGrath should start as wide either side of Clarkson. No idea who starts up front as don’t think any of them have done enough to make the position their own. As you say Hibs seem to have picked up a bit of late so can see this being a difficult game. That said their keeper is shite so if we can get pressure on him we will get opportunities. In Lift up the road then pub Y Christmas present deliveries and night out in Aberdeen 2-0 McGrath and Clarkson
  7. Seen some rumours elsewhere that the family are taking flak for this.
  8. Scott Burns article suggesting right back and wide are priorities for this transfer window. Sounds like he is just jumping to same conclusions as most on here rather than anything manager has said.
  9. With Jack Milne and Vinnie Besuijen both looking at being out for a few months think we definitely need to get in a right back and wide player as priority now.
  10. New stadium was part built but they ran out of money before it was completed and is still sitting half built.
  11. They have been in the shite for a few years now. They almost went down a couple of seasons back and look doomed this season. There have been protests against the owners over lack of investment for a while now. Basically they regularly sell best players and don’t bring in replacements and plug gaps with youth players.
  12. Russel Martin sacked by Southampton after 5-0 defeat to Spurs.
  13. Both of top two dropping points this weekend. Real drew 3-3 away to Rayo last night and tonight Barcelona lost 1-0 at home to Leganes tonight. Atletico now up to 2nd and level on points with Barcelona after beating Getafe 1-0 today. Building to be an entertaining season.
  14. That’s the moment he realises he gave up chance of ever being able to live in Aberdeen again and made his parents life a misery just to lose finals to Celtic in Hun blue instead of red.
  15. Manchester United win Manchester derby by scoring 2 in last 5 minutes. Manchester City now only won 1 in last 11 games. In late games Spurs 4-0 up on Southampton after 30 minutes. Spurs must be a very frustrating team to watch.
  16. Good to see him getting a couple. Hopefully goes on a run now and build his confidence for coming back to us.
  17. O’Neil sacked by Wolves to probably nobody’s surprise. The recent slump in form might have come at the right time.
  18. As bad as teams in previous game were Perth are a whole new level of shite.
  19. Lad Waddingham up front for Brisbane looks decent and took his goal well.
  20. Got Western Sydney Wanderers v Brisbane on just now. They really need to do something about the stadium sizes. Being played in 30,000 capacity stadium but stadium isn’t even a third full. Any atmosphere being generated by fans is just lost. Currently 2-1 after 20 minutes. Not a great game so far with neither team looking like they can defend which probably explains both teams league positions.
  21. Knocked out of Scottish cup today by Queen’s Park 3-1.
  22. Correct. In last qualifiers their “Home” games were played in Poland behind closed doors.
  23. World Cup qualifying draw made today. If I am reading it right it is loser of nations league play off between Denmark and Portugal that comes into our group. Looks winnable group at home. Away will be the issue.
  24. Millwall manger leaving his post which is an odd one given they are currently 11th and on edge of play offs. Wonder if this has implications for Nisbet.
