  1. Jack MacIver recalled by Dons from Huntly to join first team squad. Another central midfielder. https://www.huntlyfc.co.uk/index.php/news/club-news/2902-loan-signing-returns-to-parent-club
  2. Bit in bold is way I see it as well. Not expecting this lad to be an instant hit but as long as wages are not excessive one that could have a big upside for the club if the lad can be developed and copes with the transition to playing professionally. Only thing is he is another central midfielder. Got loads of them and we really need to be looking at getting in players for other areas over the midfield.
  3. Evan Towler played 90 minutes of Elgin’s 2-2 draw with Edinburgh City. Due to COVID isolation never got a chance to see how he did. Kieran Ngwenya played 90 minutes of Kelty’s 3-0 win away to Stirling. Mason Hancock was 63rd minute sub for Stirling. Jack Milne played 90 minutes of Brechin’s 1-0 defeat to Formartine.
  4. College game I went a few years ago was similar to development league game here.
  5. Another of young players signs a new deal and goes out on loan for rest of season.
  6. The signing clause was always an odd one given his deal is up this summer and is free to sign elsewhere from now.
  7. Samuels loan period ended early. No real surprise as he looked poor in games I watched.
  8. Have to disagree with you both. Joe is still one of best keepers in the league and I think better than Clark. Admittedly Clark could still improve and if this was 2024 then it might be a move you would make but with 2 years still to run on his contract and at the prime age for a keeper I would not be looking to move Joe on. Plenty other positions that need addressing first.
  9. Saw that mentioned in press but just dismissed at as cannot see Joe leaving any time soon and Clark would be wanting first team football. Both would be on wages that would be expensive for a back up. Arabs makes far more sense as you say. Anyway don’t trust folk with hillbilly beards. Just wrong.
  10. Not sure he is the man to get them out the shite. More likely to drop them further in it.
  11. McInnes move to Kilmarnock confirmed. Surprised he has not got a gig at a higher level.
  12. One goal and a couple off assists while at Kelty and played almost all of games while on loan there. I never made their Edinburgh City game due to work so never got to see him play.

    Coronavirus

So no change to normal then.

    Coronavirus

Positive test today for me. Feels like a slight head cold so far. Ten days of sitting on my arse is more likely to be the issue.
  15. Thought this would be happening when he was recalled. Hopefully gets game time to help him develop.
  16. One heading out on loan. While another is recalled and is coming into first team squad. Replacement for Longstaff?

    Happy New Year

  18. Get the suspicion we might get a few of these stories for the next month.
  19. Like Shinnie as a player but it’s the one position we do not need to strengthen. Would have thought a creative player was more of a priority.
  20. I was not enjoying the football under McInnes but Glass has actually made us even worse to watch. I definitely do not see the exciting brand of football that was talked about when he was appointed. Squad is even more unbalanced that it was under McInnes as well. That said there is no way Cormack sacks the man he claimed was the standout candidate after 6 months so we will just have to ride this out and hope it improves.
  21. Confirmation that Longstaff returned to Newcastle.
  22. McLennan was rotten when he came on. Ojo did well at end to clear off the line.
  23. Ramsey off for Campbell. Ojo to right back.
  24. Looked a better team since McGinn came on.
  25. Great goal by Ferguson.
