Andy Considine voted fans and players player of the year. Goal of the season was Ferguson v St Mirren in cup and young player of the year was Dean Campbell.

Was never that impressed defensively with Leigh when he played left back. Pretty sure we could get better especially when we were allegedly paying a fee for Leigh. Happy to see Gallagher getting returned to Atlanta as he was rank rotten. Feel a bit sorry for Frank Ross as he looked decent before he got injured but never seemed to recover from it.

This was unanimously rejected by the lower league teams last time and the time before. Clubs said it devalued lower leagues by turning them into glorified reserve leagues. Claim that this will help the Scottish National team is laughable given the number of non Scots that both teams regularly sign for their development teams. Hopefully this gets punted again. As for Hagi fact that Genk were looking to punt him 6 months after they signed him for €8m tells you there is something not right.

Reports in media suggesting R number for infections in some regions of England (South West and North West) is back up above 1. Interestingly these figures are 7 days behind so don’t include the easing of lockdown when half England went to these regions last weekend.

Charlie Nick and Hans was probably best pairing I saw play together. Dream pairing Hans and Shearer.

Home kit is a standard Adidas template. Don’t like the collar or the sleeves. Away would be alright if it was not for wired panel with the sponsor logo. Not bought a shirt since the yellow and black half and half effort and cannot see that changing this season.

With league being called Dons have emailed season ticket holders offering a refund in remainder of the season but asking fans not to take it up. Saying it will cost club £1m to refund season ticket holders, sponsors and advertisers. As I am lucky enough to be still working and getting paid full wage I will not be asking for the refund but suspect their are others who will need that money.

Any easing of the lock down is going to lead to an increase in cases as is shown in Germany and South Korea. It is how that increase is managed that will be the difference. I have no doubt BoJo and his three ring circus will make a rip roaring cunt of it which will see deaths increase again.

Trump has announced he is suspending funding the WHO as he carries out an investigation into their serious mishandling of the COVID 19 outbreak. Also accusing them of a cover up of how serious the virus was when outbreak started in conjunction with Chinese Government. Clearly attempting to shift the blame already.

Hiscox are not an insurer I deal with much so don’t know how their policy is worded but in general most of the business interruption covers that do have an infectious diseases extension to their wordings (a lot don’t) are pretty limited in what diseases they would cover (Allianz policy specifically excludes SARS Coronavirus which the current virus is related too for example) and the circumstances under which they will respond. Even those that have a wide enough wording to respond usually require there to be an outbreak at the premises and will be sub limited with a short indemnity period. Can see there being some very lengthy legal battles over this.

As it’s likely to be last game we get to attend for a while I will be heading along. Hopefully we will revert to a back 4 as the back 3 set up last week was shambolic at best. Should be setting up 4-4-2 but no chance McInnes will abandon his holding 3 in the middle of the park. Well’s form has also gone to shit of late so hopefully we can get the win that will secure our least shite of the rest trophy. In Train then pint Away end Train back to capital. 2-1 McGinn and Kennedy.
-
First half Hibs looked like they could go through our shambolic back 3 at will. It it was not for Joe they could have been out of sight by half time. Was very surprised we did not make changes to set up at half time. Thought second half started with Hibs still in the ascendancy again but red card changed the game. Got the break with own goal as well. Thought McGinn and Ferguson were our best players. Anderson made big difference when he came on as well. McGeouch probably had his best game in a red shirt and is hopefully starting to look like the player Hibs had.

Think this is a game we really have to win with Motherwell playing Hearts and Livingston playing St Johnstone. There is a chance we could be 6 points behind 3rd in 5th if we don’t win. Only 2 wins in last 10 league games really isn’t good enough. Campbell back from suspension but cannot see him getting into side. In Train up Y Train back to capital. 1-1 Kennedy

Surely there has to be another free agent option other than Hoban. He has been injured for large chunks of his professional career. Would rather we looked at an option who might be fit enough to play games if needed.
-
Due to work not going to make this one. Hopefully for those who do attend it’s a more entertaining game than Saturday. Oot Work Flat Flat 1-1 McGinn.
-
Development loans mean player can still play in reserve games and also continue to train with their actual team.
-
Shite game but right result. Fuck paying to watch football like that every week.
-
Away end sold out even with this being an evening kick off live on council tv. We will need a better performance than last visit there to get through. Not convinced the Cosgrove and Main partnership will work so would hope McInnes will revert to having McGinn in beside Main. Not sure if Ojo will be back for this so assuming he is not would think it would be Ferguson and McGeouch in the middle with Hedges and Kennedy wide. Would stick with a back 4 for this one. Really need to be winning this one. In Pub somewhere in the weeg Away end Train back to capital. 2-0 McGinn and Hedges

Not Huns this time but reserves beat Motherwell 3-1 today to reach Reserve Cup final. Dons goals from Anderson Ruth and Virtanen. https://www.afc.co.uk/report_nostats/development-dons-defeat-motherwell-to-reach-reserve-cup-final/

The Norwegian season does not start until April so he will have only been starting his preseason work. Suspect might be another few weeks before he is up to speed.
-
Cove’s win today coupled with Edinburgh City’s draw with Brechin leaves them 8 clear with 11 left to play.

I thought we defended poorly on Wednesday but today was even worse. Gifted County two easy goals. How McKay got so much room to get a free header for the first is beyond me. Thought both Campbell’s yellow cards were on the soft side but they were technically yellow cards so off he goes. He will hopefully learn from this. McInnes should have hooked Cosgrove immediately to bring on another midfielder and left Main up top. Cosgrove had another poor game. His form is tanking of late. He needs to drop back to the bench. We are going to have to improve if we are to finish third.
