St. Johnstone at home, 3pm Saturday Sept 14

1 up front at home has to stop. Midfield 3 offer nothing creative at all. Only positive is we are not as shite as Hibs or Hearts. -

Firstly McGinn and Hedges have to start. Would not be risking Logan unless fully fit so would go with Vyner at right back despite not be convinced by him. Really should not need to be playing 3 holding midfielders at home to St Johnstone so would drop one from Ojo Bryson and Ferguson for an extra forward player. Saints fan in the work saying he is slight more optimistic about their prospects for the season following signings in last week of the window and return of players from injury. Think this might be a harder game than it would have been a few weeks ago. In Pub Y Train back to capital 2-1 McGinn and Hedges -
Probably out for season. https://www.heraldscotland.com/sport/17898482.aberdeen-striker-scott-wright-rest-season-horror-cruciate-injury/

First it’s saying your to busy in your wedding day to start one now using honeymoon as an excuse. Where is your commitment. You’ve changed man.

I stupidly agreed to go to the rugby on Friday without checking fixtures and going to miss the game against Russia. First home qualifier I have missed in a long time so probably means we will win. Is Naismith not injured?

What a difference Hedges and McGinn made to last week’s shambles. If fit these two have to start every week. Agree with Kenny that Cosgrove has a poor game. Penalty was only way he was scoring today. Header from Leigh for first was excellent and thought he had a really good game. Would say though County were utter shite so not reading to much into today’s result yet but at least it was a more enjoyable watch than last week. Hedges ripping Foster a new one was especially enjoyable.

Logan out injured so Vyner to right back and Devlin in for McKenna. Playing 1 up front at home to County.
-
Don’t see the need for having a holding midfielder against Ross County at home so would go with Bryson and Ferguson in the middle with Hedges and McGinn wide. Agree with playing Wilson in behind Cosgrove. Thought Vyner struggled against a toothless Kilmarnock attack last week so if Devlin is fit I would go with him and Considine at the back. Really need a performance after last few games which have torture to watch. Expect County to sit in and be difficult to break down after a couple of poor results recently. In Supporters bus then pub Y Supporters bus back to capital. 2-0 Cosgrove and Wilson

That was every bit as bad as last week. As a team we are so predictable. Ball gets passed sideways 3 or 4 times then punted forward for for Cosgrove to fail to win it in the air. We win it back and repeat the process. We desperately need to get a creative player in the middle of the park. From the managers comments in the week I thought we were going to try Wilson there today but instead we stuck him out on the wing where he could not influence the game. We need to change something soon or it could be a horrible long season.

Campbell out and McLennan and Bryson both doubtful for today.

Scott Wright being linked with a move to Ipswich or Sunderland. Apologies in advance for the link. https://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/sport/football/4639953/sunderland-and-ipswich-in-transfer-chase-for-aberdeen-star-scott-wright/

Pretty sure it has to be home section that they close. -
With McInnes talking about Wilson being the new Christie I would expect Wilson to replace Bryson if he is out injured and Ferguson to replace either Gallagher or McGinn. Personally I would also drop Ojo to play an additional attacking player as I do not see the need for a defensive holding midfielder against Kilmarnock but no chance McInnes will do anything like that. Hopefully the game is better than last 4 and we can get away from the hoofball we have been playing and get the ball on the ground and play with pace. Not sure I could stomach a whole season of what I have watched of late. In Lift over and hopefully time for a beer Away end Lift back to the capital 2-0 Wilson and Hedges

Only thing I have seen was article in the Retard suggesting we were looking to move players out permanently , May and Gleeson, and some young players out on loan. No mention of any players coming in. No quotes in the article so probably just standard Rrtard shite.

Replays and postponed games Colville Park 0-4 Whitehill Welfare LTHV 5-0 Wigtown and Bladnoch Auchinleck Talbot 6-1 Dundonald Bluebell.

McLean got injured in first game of the season last year and was out injured for first 6 months. Got back in the team once he was fit.
-
We were awful for huge chunks of the game today and could easily been 3-0 down by half time. We were so predictable in attack that Dundee were easily able to cope with most of our attempts to attack. It teams can stop us getting wide we quickly resort to hoofing the ball long as we have zero creation in midfield. It was only down to Dundee running out of steam in the last 10 minutes that we got in to game. However a win is a win and we are still in the cup which is the main thing. Cannot help thinking it is just papering over the cracks and that we are going to take a fearful doing off both sides of the old firm if we keep playing this way.

Bryson for Ferguson is the only change from Thursday.
-
If Ojo keeps performing like he did on Thursday we might even be interested.
