If Ojo keeps performing like he did on Thursday we might even be interested.
-
Would think Greg Taylor is probably who they are trying to get however if it is McKenna it should be cash up front only deal. Then use some of that to buy Jason Kerr from St J.
-
3 games into the Championship season in England and we have the first managerial casualty of the season with Huddersfield sacking Jan Siewert after only 7 months in charge. Only one win in 7 months but given they were in free fall before when he took over does seem a bit quick.

With Ferguson suspended will have to make changes for this one. Massively important game for the team given last 3 performances. If Bryson is fit (stop laughing) would expect him to replace Ferguson if he is not the it will be Campbell along side Ojo. Assuming Cosgrove is fit would expect him to play up top with Hedges and McGinn behind him with either Gallagher or McLennan. Would expect same back 4 as last night. Dundee having Hemings back is giving me a little concern. Failure on Sunday will leave us looking at a long dull season. In Train then visit family Away end Train back to capital 2-0 McGinn and Hedges.

Well that was shite. Fucking awful from first to last. Yes the ref was shite but by fuck did we make some stupid challenges. I had said to my mates as soon as Ojo was booked that he was going to be sent off. He was getting totally overrun in the middle of the park and was diving into challenges as a result. We should have hooked him as soon as we went 1-0 down. Cosgrove looked half fit. How bad must our other strikers be that McInnes would rather go with a half fit Cosgrove rather than play any of them. As someone has already said we have zero creation in midfield and as a result are very predictable. No doubt McInnes will claim getting a draw in second half as a victory.

Confirmation of Cosgrove being out here. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/49324014 We should not be going with Main as his “style” of football will see him booked or sent off in Europe. See Stockley for evidence of that. He is also dug shite. Would rather we went with Anderson or May along side Wilson. Agree with the rest of the team. Think we are fucked anyway as cannot see us getting 3 without them scoring. In Bus up and hopefully a couple of pints Y Bus back to capital 2-1 McGinn and Wilson.
-
Wilson given 5 minutes.
-
That’s Logan and Cosgrove both with two bookings. Does that mean they are suspended for 2nd leg? ETA: 3 yellow cards for a suspension.
-
They were a step up in class from what we have played previously but we gave them far to much respect and have paid the price. Both goals were self inflicted. Cannot see us not conceding at home so probably needing 4 to go through. Not enough quality to do that sadly.

Wayne Rooney agrees to leave DC United in January and join Derby.
-
Thursdays game confirmed as being on Premier Sports.
-
Andrew Shinnie playing at Luton in Championship so hardly disappeared. As for Graeme Shinnie I cannot see him fitting into Cocu’s style of play and he could well end up back up the road in January on loan to another Scottish club.

Agree with Ten Caat that we should go with the team that started the game last night. As long as they are all fit then no reason to change a winning team. That said McInnes did mention not having Leigh play 3 games in 7 day after just coming back from injury so it maybe that he drops out but I have no idea who would take his place if he does. Hearts will give us a much harder test than any of our Europa league opposition has so far. Be interesting to see if we stick to playing the same type of football as last night or if we revert to knocking it long against these cloggers. In Lift up the road then beers Y Train back to the Capital. 2-0 Cosgrove and McKenna

Great result against an admittedly poor side but we did play some great football tonight. Some of the passing was a joy to behold. Be interesting to see if we continue this style of play on Sunday. Suspect Hearts will provide a much sterner test.
-
Going to be interesting to see how we line up tonight. I had thought we might go with Virtanen at right back and switch Logan to left back but with Virtanen playing 60 minutes for reserves against Deveronvale last night that is not looking likely. I would like to think we would be more attack minded at home against the Georgians who looked a poor side but with McInnes you never know. In Supporters bus up then hopefully a pint. Y Supporters bus back to the Capital. 2-0 McGinn and Cosgrove pen.

Cracking game between LAFC and Atlanta United last night. Finished 4-3. Great watch. As for MLS as a whole I would not say the standard is much different from SPFL. There are some players who are better than the players in SPFL but also a number who would not get a game in SPFL. Standard is improving though and I have no doubt it will be one of the best leagues in the world in the near future.

Firstly away goal and avoiding defeat were major positives on the evening. Georgians looked pretty poor and fully expect us to beat them at home. Going to go against grain in here and say not that impressed with Ojo and his challenge for their penalty was poor. However hopefully will get better with games. Bryson looked totally unfit so cannot judge him on today. As someone has said Gallagher looks like an athlete but not a footballer. Most alarming thing for me was that with McGinn having a poor game we created little. Looks like we will need to get in another creative player to provide chances if McGinn is off the boil

Chikhura Sachkere are over half way through their season having won 6 of their 21 league matches so far scoring 28 but conceding 22. Only 1 win in last 5 league games. They will definitely be match sharp and in better shape than RoPS and expect them to provide a stiffer challenge. Thankfully looks like it will not be as warm as it could have been. Was not happy when Taylor signed as do not rate him at all and feared Devlin’s injury record meant Taylor would play a lot more than people were thinking. Him playing tonight gives me the absolute fear. Surely we could have signed better. Don’t think Campbell or Ferguson did anything to deserve being dropped but expect Ojo to play with probably Campbell or maybe Gallagher dropping out. Cannot see McInnes dropping Cosgrove so expect him to continue with McGinn and Hedges playing wide. Think we have to score as away goal could be vital. Oot Park in the sun it’s warmer here than Tbilisi. Tron again Back to flat 1-1 McGinn
-
Not a great performance but we are through. Worrying the way a team as poor as RoPS still caused us problems at the back especially Taylor who looked very poor at times. Really need today’s injury to be the only one of the season for Devlin as better teams will murder Taylor. Cosgrove again missing sitters. Main did not look any better when he came on. Going to have to hope Wilson turns up this season. McGinn and Ferguson looked our best players. We will need to be a lot better to get passed the Georgians I suspect.

Killie result is a major embarrassment to Scottish football. A new low.

Glenrothes have now followed them into senior leagues this season. From what I was told last year Dundonald realised that to progress they had to turn senior. Kelty’s success the season before in gaining promotion to lowland league in one season helped along with HOB, St Andrews and Oakley all jumping last summer also helped them make the switch. They now have their entry level licence and entry into Scottish Cup.

Hibs have signed midfielder Josh Vela from Bolton on a three year deal. Immediately being hailed by their fans as much better than Ojo because they are not bitter about Ojo picking us over them. Not in the slightest.
