As it’s a short term deal to January I assume he is hoping that things will have improved by then and clubs in EFL will be back signing players. One positive that might come out the current COVID situation is that the salary cap being applied by teams in League 1 and 2 in England might make playing for clubs there less appealing and more players will remaining in Scotland.
