Botafogo win Copa Libertadores. Very enjoyable final.

3-1 Botafogo against run of play.

Been decent game. Despite red card Botafogo got 2-0 ahead. Mineiro got one back at start of second half.

Todays results. Was at Livingston v Brora with a couple of mates from up there. Livingston dominated first half and cruised to 2-0 lead. Brora came more into game in second half but never really threatened Livingston goal. Elsewhere great wins for Broxburn, Elgin and Fraserburgh.

Devlin being in the squad is a positive as really did not want to go to Tynecastle with Milne at right back. I would start with Sokler up front with Clarkson behind him and McGrath and Keskinen wide. I agree with Orlando that Duk and Morris are more effective off the bench plus Morris does not contribute enough defensively. I would be tempted to maybe rest one of Nielsen or Shinnie with the Victims up next but not sure we will. Cannot start game way we have in last two as Hunbos have players to hurt us and that lard ass Shankland always tries against us. In Pub away end bus home 2-1 Sokler and McGrath

They added 10 minutes at the end of second half which I assume was mainly the result of VAR check. ETA I only saw last bit of game as had been over the road watching Scotland’s Women’s team play out boring 0-0 draw with Finland.

Absolute comedy own goal for victims tonight.

Jensen has only managed 5 games in Denmark and not got kicked a ball for Vejle and since start of October. Guessing he might not be answer to our problems.

Very poor defensively tonight. Devlin hopefully isn’t badly hurt as Milne is clearly not a right back. Cover at full back positions is a must in January plus probably another centre back. Play like that on Sunday and we are in trouble.

Can’t believe Hibs are not selling away tickets for tonight. Plenty looking for tickets tonight.

Or someone remembered how fucking cold it can be in December.

Be interesting to see how the team react to Saturday’s result. Expecting them to bounce back myself. I would drop Clarkson and Morris to bench and start Keskinen and Duk. Clarkson’s form has shaded for me and Morris is more effective coming off the bench going against a tiring full back. I was not impressed with Palaversa on Saturday so would not change Nilsen or Shinnie if they are fit. Up front I would probably go with Nisbet. Hibs are a bin fire at the moment and we should be looking to win comfortably. In flat Lower deck of away end 2 minute walk back to flat. 2-0 Duk and Nisbet.

Bottom deck sold out and two sections in the upper deck open for sale.

Good game between Celta Vigo and Barcelona on just now. Currently 2-2 with 5 minutes left.

We were off it today. To slow in moving ball and always looking for an extra touch. Out muscled in the middle of the park as well. Not sure why Sokler started as was never his type of game against a physical St Mirren back line. As said above only really in it for 20 minutes of second half then fell out of it again. St Mirren deserved their victory although without seeing it again thought they should have reduced to 10 which would have changed the game.

Queens Park keeper Calum Ferrie looked decent tonight and one to keep an eye on. Ethan Ross was best of outfield players and looks like he could play at higher level to me. I would have thought Ryan Duncan would have added pace to Queens Park’s pedestrian attack so was surprised he didn’t play.
