  1. Finished 2-2. Replay next week.
  2. With McKenna suspended would like us to go back to a back 4. Considine and Hoban deserve to keep their places as both played well at Hibs.Cup games are about progression rather than results but it would be nice to win this with a bit of style. Gutting it’s a Sunday as it means I cannot make it up. Replacement buses from Dundee on Sunday would have made it a shit journey anyway. Oot Park or Soft play with bairn depending on weather Hopefully back in time to watch game. Flat 3-0 Stewart Cosgrove and Considine.
  3. Ban upheld. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/47179178
  4. Dorset Police have confirmed that body found in the wreckage of the plane is Sala.
  5. BBC article suggests decision is to made tomorrow evening.
  6. Of course he was as was Morelos but we should still appeal it as makes it harder to for them to allow Morelos appeal to be upheld.
  7. We should be doing the same. https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/47161011
  8. Manchester City increased the pressure on Liverpool last night by beating Everton to go top of the league on goal difference.
  9. First half formation did for us. None of defence knew what they were supposed to be doing. All over the shop at times. Why try a new formation like that in probably biggest game of the season. Better in second half when we change to 4-4-2 but had left ourselves to much to do. Annoying as they are not that good a side.
  10. Only reason Hoban is here is because he cannot stay out of the treatment room. Ability wise he is clearly good enough to play at a higher level. If he can stay fit I fully expect him to get a deal at a championship or even bottom end Premier club in England which would take him well out of our wage bracket.
  11. Where you seeing that Rico? Can’t see it mentioned on SFA site anywhere. https://www.scottishfa.co.uk/media/1849/suspensions-for-players-in-mens-football-annex-c-section-4.pdf
  12. He fairly clattered into the post so would not rule it out. Does the league have a concussion protocol like NFL and Rugby?
  13. Pish that a big game like this has been scheduled for mid week. Having to arrange ‘meetings” on Wednesday to allow me to get away from the office early enough. Would assume Cosgrove would be a risk given nature of his injury and would think we will go with May and Stewart up front and McGinn coming in to give us more width and protection to the full backs. Of more concern is the injury to Lewis. Although Cerny did okay when he came on his kicking was poor and he looked very hesitant to come for crosses. Would be much happier going into this game with Lewis so hopefully he makes it. Do not expect our game plan to change much from previous games against these vile bigots. Another chance to ram the “A class above” comments down the Scouse clowns throat. In Lift up the road Y Lift back to the Capital 1-0 Stewart
  14. Both Italian and Dutch football being shown on Premier Sport and Freesport from this weekend.
  15. 2 of which I have seen and neither were penalties. Andrew Dallas has refereed 3 Rangers games and awarded them 6 penalties.
  16. Was surprised myself when I saw the table. Won 5 out of last 6 apparently with only defeat coming from Dundee. Run coincides with return of Naismith.
  17. Hearts win 2-1 at Rugby Park tonight to move within a point of Dons admittedly having played a game more.
  18. Day before the game and no match thread what is this site coming to. Not seen anything yet to suggest any of the injured players are back so would expect the team to be much along the lines of Tuesday’s. Porteous out injured long term for the Green spoon burners so they should be weaker at the back although McNulty will give them better attacking options. Hopefully get through this with no additional injuries or suspensions. In Flat then 2 minute walk to ground Away end 2 minute walk back to flat 2-1 Stewart and McGinn.
  19. Have to agree Manc. Any injuries or suspensions will leave us reliant on youngsters who have little first team experience. Window has again reinforced that club has no ambition beyond 3rd.
  20. Or suspensions.
  21. GMS can still join MLS until start of May when their window shuts.
  22. Lewis Morgan confirmed as signing for Sunderland on loan until the end of the season. https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/47071216
  23. Liverpool can only draw 1-1 with Leicester. Bournemouth have horsed Chelsea 4-0.
  24. A couple of coupon busters last night. Liverpool’s league to lose now.
  25. Excellent first half performance from Dons last night. Played some nice football and created a good number of chances. Thought Shinnie was our best player followed by Stewart, McGinn and Wright. Second half was a bit disappointing. Mixture of us taking their foot off the gas and Stenhousemuir throwing everything at us. They deserved their goal and if it was not for a belting own goal the last 20 minutes might have been more uncomfortable than they were. Ethan Ross came on for his first team debut and looked decent. I have only just warmed up.
