I have been to qualifiers in recent years that do not meet the above criteria so other countries must be finding ways round the above criteria. Much like the UEFA rules for Europa league.

English window shut at 5pm so cannot sign on loan down there now until January.

Dirthy Filthy Hun Scumbag Vermin (deceased) and Poundland tribute act
Jute replied to mizer's topic in Football Chat
When you compare the way the Tribute Act were treated compared to Gretna 2008 who were the new club formed after the liquidation of the old Grenta FC it is laughable that these cunts think everyone is against them. Grenta 2008 were not allowed to use the old name, colours or badge by the SFA, not allowed to take on the old clubs SFA membership, forced to apply to the East of Scotland league (at that time not part of the league pyramid) and most importantly not allowed to keep the old clubs honours. Tribute Act were parachuted into division 3 ahead of clubs like Spartans and Gala despite not meeting the SPL's entry requirements, allowed to play in same colours, allowed to keep the dead clubs SFA membership and the SFA still say the dead clubs honours belong to the new club. -

Although the Tribute Act did arguably get an easy draw they did also however invest in their squad to get players in to help them get through while we sold our only striker who knew where the goal was and did not replace him before we were already out. -
This season or last? This season the answer is none but not won any either. He was right back against Dundee and St Mirren.
-
Mulumbu signs for Celtic. 2 year deal apparently.
-
We operate a small squad and already have Shinnie, Considine and Hoban who can all play left back so would have thought another left back was lower down on the list of priorities than a creative midfielder for example.

Do not get why we are signing another defender. Unless one is leaving of course...

Think if Devlin had not been out for 12 months with ACL injury he might well have made the squad but as he has only played a handful of games I suspect this squad is to soon for him to be called up. If he continues to play the way he is would think he will be in squad by November games.

Got away with that one. Very poor performance which was mainly down to the bizarre tactics and team selection from McInnes. No idea why Logan did not start at right back or why he was not on earlier when it was clear Hoban was getting roasted by Hibs wide players. Only one of the midfielders who retained the ball was Gleeson so we took him off. Lastly why when we need a goal to win the game does McInnes bring on Cosgrove.
-
Thought Forrester looked decent in the preseason games I saw him in. Distributed the ball well. I will give you he was not great against Tribute Act or Dundee when he came on but then again few did look good in red in either game. I cannot see McInnes playing 2 youngsters in midfield against Hibs and Gleeson does not look like he is going to be anything other than a defensive midfielder.
-
I would normally say that unless there are injuries that you do not change a winning team however Hibs are a different proposition to a relegation bound St Mirren so would not expect us to be as attack minded as we were last week and would expect team to be Lewis Logan, Devlin, Considine, Hoban (if fit) Shinnie, Ferguson Wright, Forrester (if McGinn is not fit), GMS May If Hoban is not fit I would expect Shinnie to go back to left back and Gleeson to play along side Ferguson. In Beers in the flat then 2 minute walk to the ground Away end Beer 2-1 Wright and GMS for Dons

Sunderland allegedly in for Christie according to Scotsman. Just have to be straight cash for McKenna.

Hamilton statement does not sound like they are happy with result. https://www.hamiltonacciesfc.co.uk/club-statement-compensation-tribunal/

Hibs sign Australian international midfielder Mark Milligan.
-
Seen them called that on P&B including by their own fans.
-
I know Millers a cunt but surely you cannot sack him based on performance after 7 games. Only lost 2 of them and one of those was Celtic. Got to be more to this than results.

2nd round results so far. Partick 1 3 Celtic FT Aberdeen 4 0 St Mirren FT Dundee 0 3 Ayr FT Dunfermline 0 1 Hearts FT Livingston 0 1 Motherwell FT Queen of the South 2 4 St Johnstone AET Tribute Act play Kilmarnock and Hibs play Ross County this afternoon. Only shock so far is Ayr knocking out Dundee with Shankland netting 2. Worth a look? Hopefully Ross County and Killie can also provide shocks today.

Are we playing 1 up front at home to St Mirren?
-
Belgium and Albania in September and Portugal in October. Not really picking Country before club as also had to buy Hibs tickets as well. Limited resources so £40 for train up today plus match ticket and beer on top was just stretching things to far.
-
Would hope Anderson starts with May up front as only change from last weekend. Have only looked like scoring once Anderson comes on to the pitch. As Manc said we have not played particularly well in last couple of games so we need to up our level of performance. Saw St Mirren lose 6 to Sunderland in preseason and they looked a very poor team that day. If we can up our level of play we should win comfortably. Oot- £100+ for Scotland tickets today plus Hibs tickets for next week mean having to give this a miss. Flat Non league game locally probably Newtongrange v Leith Flat 3-0 McGinn Anderson May

Burnley through in Europe with a 1-0 extra time win. Cork scoring again like he did against us.
