  1. He’s been scouting at Pittodrie already.
  2. As others have said I am sad it ended the way it did but it had to end. The decline had been steady for sometime and he seemed incapable of reversing it other than 6 weeks with Watkins, Wright and Hedges upfront and I am not convinced that wasn’t luck rather than design. I think it was a shame that he never left when Sunderland offered him the role.
  3. So who do we think will be next up. I am more sure of who I don’t want rather than who I do want. I am not keen on any of current SPFL managers for starters. Goodwin has shown some potential but not for a sustained period yet. Think it’s to early for him. Martindale falls into the same category. Agree with what someone said about Duncan Ferguson in another thread that it’s a big step up from assistant. Really hope we are not going to get lumbered with someone from the Atalanta set up to help them develop for Atlanta’s benefit. Not against a foreign manager who is not saddled with an inferiority complex when it comes to the Glasgow bigots.
  4. We won replay 3-1 from memory. Theo was immense keeper. After first game ended up getting on wrong train and ended up in Edinburgh so it was clearly a good idea to go for a quick pint then ended up on last train back.
  5. Been reported on SSN but again no club statement.
  6. https://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/sport/football/6792798/mcinnes-leaves-aberdeen-eight-years/amp/?utm_medium=Social&utm_source=Twitter Apologies for the source.
  7. Usually 14 to 21 days on from spreader event for the death rate to start rising.
  8. I don’t think he will leave until the summer but I am convinced that McInnes has already been told he won’t be here next summer and so have some of the players. They look like they are just going through the motions now. No urgency or fight from players or manager.
  9. From the performances of late the manager and players know we are going to have major changes in the summer and most won’t be here next season. They are just going through the motions now. The time taken to make the last two changes was a joke. Two weeks before the next game so probably perfect time to make a change. However, who is available at the moment.
  10. Agreed Rico that looks 3-5-2 to me.
  11. Liverpool lose 5th straight home game at Anfield game to slip to 7th following 1-0 defeat by Chelsea. Nice goal from Mount for Chelsea.
  12. https://www.brotherlygame.com/2021/2/25/22301154/philadelphia-union-announce-signing-scottish-international-center-back-stuart-findlay#:~:text=Stuart Findlay to the Philadelphia Union is finally official.&text=The Union paid an undisclosed,-foot-2 or taller. Missed this one last week. Pity as he is one that I thought might have been a decent target for Dons.
  13. Think the way Hamilton play suits us as they play on the front foot rather than sitting in which should give us more space to exploit with pace of Kamberi. Anderson seems to an important player for Hamilton so him being unable to play is also a bonus. If we are to have any chance of third we must win this one. Would give McLennan another run but he really needs to contribute more than he did against Celtic. Would be tempted to go to a back 4 to allow McLennan and Hayes to play further up the field. oot (almost a year since last in Pittodrie) park with bairn Red TV flat 2-0 Kamberi and Ferguson
  14. Another assist for Anderson tonight in Hamilton’s 1-1 draw with St Johnstone.

  16. At most there would have been another minute. It was a pointless substitution by that time.
  17. That was a genuine WTF moment today. Even the radio team sounded confused by it.
  18. Easy comfortable 1-0 for Celtic. We have offered so little in an attacking sense I wonder why we bothered turning up. Season cannot finish quick enough.
  19. Hayes back in. Assuming McGinn will be through the middle with Kamberi.
  20. Not sure the Victims will put up with Clarke’s style of football for long. Think this might be wrong move for him.
  21. Never like playing a team who have just got rid of their manager. Usually they play like they have got something to prove or have had a weight lifted. Would rather they had waited until next week until making the change. Assuming Hendry will replace Hornby in starting line up from Saturday. If Hayes is fit expect him to replace McGinn. Not holding out much hope of anything from Saturday. No PPV offering again so need to find a stream again. Oot Park with bairn Stream hopefully flat 2-0 no dons scorer.
  22. Being reported that Popcorn Teeth will be away from Celtic before the weekend. https://www.glasgowtimes.co.uk/news/19112818.amp/?__twitter_impression=true
  23. Looks like Hornby is out for a good while as had tear in thigh muscle.
  24. Think the way we have to approach guys like this is to sell a move to Dons as a stepping stone to bigger things by pointing out we will give them better opportunity of first team football quicker than they are going to get at the Glasgow bigots. First team football with us will increase their chances of getting move to big money elsewhere.
