  1. That could see United right in the shite financially. Might be long time before we see them back in top flight.
  2. Jambos have signed Olly Lee a midfielder from Luton.
  3. Rooney would be off his head to stay as he clearly is 3rd choice now behind 2 non scoring forwards. I would think he is a perfect fit for Hibs as they are crying out for a penalty box striker and they have the players to supply him the balls in the right areas.
  4. Steven McLean was the ref last night.
  5. Draw was probably a fair result. We worked very hard but created little. Tribute Act came more into it in the second half and we were hanging on in the end. Seems we have found another striker who does not look like scoring which is a major draw back for a striker. Cannot fault the lads work rate however.
  6. Really take it you have not been to Livingston and Paisley recently.
  7. Arabs looked pretty comfortable for 70 minutes then completely collapsed. Livi worked hard and took goals well but hard to tell if they are better than teams at foot of SPFL. Not a great away day but at least stadium better than Hamilton’s.
  8. Last game of season as will not be putting myself through another defeat at Parkhead. No idea how we will line up. Surely McInnes will have learned from how other teams have set about beating this mob? If we play the way we have in the previous 3 against them we will lose again. In Lift up then Pit for a beer hopefully. Y Lift back to Capital. 0-2 no Dons scorer.
  9. Surely Nwakali will be nowhere near the squad.
  10. Was someone from Singapore last week and Fenway Sports Group the week before. They are deluded cunts.
  11. Will be gutted if I win this now.
  12. Got what we played for. Dreadful long ball pish from us. Thankfully Hibs were not much better. Hopefully McLean coming back on Tuesday means we will change the set up.
  13. Given our track record and this site is cheapest option I would say it’s a fair bet that stadium will be a soulless cheap legoland.
  14. Would much rather see east coast and north teams stay up and get rid of a couple of weegie teams. Bad enough that Paisley cunts are coming back up now the Alamo is gone.
  15. Wonder if Gerrard realises that the traditions he refers too include wanting to be up to their knees in his blood due to his religion.
  16. Airdrie up here as well. New stadium sank them.
  17. Think Mixu was a better player than Rooney although that might be the drink effecting my memory plus fact he played in a team that included Shearer, Jess and Booth which was a joy to watch at the time.
  18. Leaving out home nations players I would go for: Snelders Hector Deloumeaux Arnasson Tzvetanov Hayes Heikkinen Kiriakov Aluko Gilhaus Paatelainen
  19. Got the impression when Cove lost to Edinburgh City a few years ago that they were desperate to go up. With new ground in place would think that will be the case this time as well.
  20. 665 at the game last night even though they were 4-0 down from first leg suggests there is enough interest to support a 4th team. Cove should be favourites for play off against Cowdenbeath who have had some fall down the leagues. Only 4 season ago they were in the 1st division playing Hearts Hibs and the Tribute Act.
  21. Watt would be a big gamble and given our squad size not sure it’s one we can afford to take. Already have Cosgrove as a project player so surely if we are replacing Rooney (fair chance he will ask to leave as much as us releasing him) we should be looking for a proven goal scorer to replace him.
  22. Sorry DD but McLean being out puts us at a massive disadvantage. Hibs are big step up in class to the previous 2 opponents and we would have a much better chance of winning if McLean was available. Agree with Kenny that we will need to move Shinnie back into midfield if we are to compete with Hibs in there. Means Considine coming back in and probably Cosgrove dropping out. In Pub in town Y Pub in town 1-1 McGinn
  23. Cosgrove starts so assuming we are going to try to match them physically. With Andrew Dallas as ref think it’s a safe bet to say we will be down to 10 before then.
  24. He played a holding role in last game I saw U20s play as well. Thought he was okay but to many side ways passes. Mind you Barry Ferguson got a 45 caps for Scotland doing just that.
  25. Beaten by the bigger stronger more street wise team tonight. Hibs out muscled the Dons all over the field. They knew where and when to commit fouls. Played some very good football to. Dons has some good individual performances but just could not match Hibs team effort. Didn’t get much help from ref who probably should have sent off Porteous in the first half for what looked a two footed lunge in the box. Very inconsistent all game. Impressed by Frank Ross and Bruce Anderson for Dons. Not sure if any of the rest look like they are anywhere near ready for the first team. By fuck I am getting fed up of seeing us lose at Hampden.
