  1. Brutal stuff. We are just a long ball team. Other than McGinn we have zero creation. As someone said Ojo, McGeouch and Ferguson are far to similar. We need another creative option in there. Getting no enjoyment out of watching Dons this season and sadly cannot see it changing.
  2. Wilson supposedly out injured again for tonight. Being described as an injury blow in the press but not sure how an injury to a player who never plays is a blow.
  3. Would like to see Anderson and Cosgrove starting together again. They need a good few games together to see if they can form a partnership. However if McInnes wants to have McGeouch Ferguson and Ojo on the field can see Anderson dropping out. Oot Work Flat Flat 1-1 Cosgrove

Went to see 1917 tonight. Really good.
  5. Full 5th round draw. Inverness vs Livingston Clyde vs Celtic BSC Glasgow vs Dundee United or Hibs St Mirren vs Motherwell Ayr United vs St Johnstone Aberdeen vs Kilmarnock Hamilton vs Rangers Arbroath or Falkirk vs Hearts
  6. FOURTH ROUND Aberdeen 1 Dumbarton 0 Alloa 2 Inverness CT 3 Arbroath 0 Falkirk 0 Ayr 1 Ross County 0 Bonnyrigg Rose 0 Clyde 1 East Kilbride 1 BSC Glasgow 3 Hamilton 5 Edinburgh City 0 Hearts 5 Airdrieonians 0 Kilmarnock 6 Queen's Park 0 Livingston 3 Raith Rovers 1 St Johnstone 3 Morton 0 St Mirren 3 Broxburn Athletic 0 Partick Thistle 1 Celtic 2 Dundee 0 Motherwell 3 Rangers 2 Stranraer 0 Dundee United 2 Hibs 2 Only really one shock with Ayr putting County out. Only 2 replays as well.
  7. Ferguson suspended for this one so be interesting to see how we line up in midfield. Would expect McGeouch to start. Would like to see us go with Anderson and Cosgrove as a front 2 but cannot see McInnes going with that. As long as we approach the game professionally should be a comfortable victory. Oot (forgot to book the train and no cheap tickets left) Flat Local game Flat 3-0 Cosgrove, McGinn and McKenna.
  8. Arbroath fans seem very pleased with this. They seemed to think that he had been doing so well that we would recall him in this window.
  9. Meant to vote for Snelders, Grant and Jess but my fat fingers mean Rooney has a vote.
  10. Jon Gallagher’s deal extended sadly. https://www.afc.co.uk/2020/01/09/jon-remains-a-don/
  11. According to Sunderland Echo McGeouch is currently injured.
  12. Like McGeouch as a player when he is fit but the problem is he never is. Rarely seems to manage 3 or 4 games in a row without breaking down. Not sure we need another perma crock.
  13. Not good news for GMS given Deila binned him from Celtic.
  14. Said pregame that punting the ball to Main was not going to win the game but sadly that is what McInnes went for. If he cannot see that long balls up to a loan striker is playing to Hearts defensive strengths then really have to question if there is any point in continuing with him. Why start the game with no creation and several players out of position. Basically chucked Campbell and Anderson under a bus today with the way he had them set up. Why he persisted with Ojo once the went down to 10 also has to be questioned. Main should be freed in the window but fuck all chance that will happen. Raging that I caved in and went.
  15. Pellegrini sacked by West Ham tonight.
  16. From watching way Hearts back 4 struggled with pace and movement of Boyle we have to go with Anderson on Sunday. If we try to punt the ball up to Main then we are not going to score. Despite this game being only 20 minutes from the house I am not going as not paying £34 to watch Scottish football. Oot Flat Flat Flat 1-0 McGinn
  17. Valuable 3 points but poor game of football. Anderson one of few bright spots and took his goal well. He has to start against Hearts as his pace and movement will give their back 4 problems. Main on the other hand was piss poor again. Cannot believe we gave him a 3 year deal. Special mention to Ash Taylor who’s lunge on Livingston player was so mistimed that he not only missed the ball but the player as well. Had to be seen to be believed.
  18. Bryson signing is turning into a bust. It was always a gamble to punt on a 30+ plus player coming off an ankle injury like his but suspect to get a player of his quality its the sort of gamble we have to take. If he was not injured at the end of his Derby contract another Championship side would have made a move for him.
  19. Game against them down there saw us play some the worst football I have ever witnessed from a Dons side despite us winning 2-0. I don't think we passed the ball forward on the ground once. Really hope Thursday is not a repeat. Injury to Leigh means we now have to go with Considine at left back for the next while. They will sit in so think we will need to have an extra creative player in the staring 11 so maybe drop Vyner for Hedges and move Wilson in from the wing to play behind Cosgrove assuming we appeal the red card. In pub Y pub 2-0 McGinn and Wilson ETA Cosgrove appeal rejected. Would assume McInnes will go with Main. Can see it being as much of a shitfest as last time now.
  20. Bet365 have Dons as 14/1 shots for today. It’s a really sad reflection on Scottish game that bookies rate the team currently 3rd as 14/1 shots to win at league leaders.
  21. https://www.pressandjournal.co.uk/fp/sport/football/aberdeen-fc/1915855/gallagher-first-of-many-in-atlanta-aberdeen-link/ Jon Gallagher’s loan deal extended. Great athlete but rotten footballer. Really hoped he would be punted back to Atlanta.
  22. Missing this again. Not giving the robbing cunts £30 for a restricted view ticket or a to watch us play our usual negative style against the Dims. Really hope I am wrong but can see us losing by 3 or 4 again even if we do sit in. Oot Travelling south Morecambe v Newport County Travelling north. 3-0 no dons scorer.
  23. If exit poll is correct then we are fucked. With a majority of 86 there is no chance Boris will grant a another independence referendum. Boris with size of the majority will run this country for the good of the rich at the expense of the poor.
  24. Forgot to book trains for this and as they are now wanting over £40 for the train combined with growing apathy going to give this a miss. Would like to see Vyner and Gallagher dropped but would expect both to play. Hamilton were poor when we played them at the end of October but we struggled to a 1-0 win. Expecting no different again. Oot Xmas Shopping Local non league game Flat 1-0 McGinn
  25. Today showed the lack of real quality in our squad. Once Ferguson was booked we lost all drive in the middle of park. We have no creativity in the team. Again it was long balls into the channels or for Cosgrove to try and hold up. We desperately need to get in some creativity in January. Substitutions were bizarre to say the least especially with us only being 1-0 at the time. Changes were always going to expose our back line to the counter attack. In Main and Gallagher we have two of the worst players I have see playing in the top flight.
