  1. Read elsewhere that UEFA fine EFL for showing the games but Sky pay the fines.
  2. Against my better judgement going to head over to the replay tomorrow. Hoping the fact it's a cup tie means Killie have to open up which should give us space to get after them. Given up trying to guess what team and formation McInnes will put out. Hopefully no extra time as it means I will miss last train back to Edinburgh. In Train then time for a beer hopefully. Away end Sprint back to train station. 2-0 McGinn and Rooney.
  3. Pellegrino sacked by Southampton.
  4. Email sent to supporters clubs suggested there would be a cash gate.
  5. That was brutal today. We looked totally devoid of ideas. Ball was only one to get pass marks. He was not spectacular but kept things simple and worked hard. Rest of the team were awful. We look like a team that cannot wait for the seasonto end. Woodman's distribution makes me miss clangers. Christie was like being a man down. How he managed to avoid being subbed is beyond me. Most worrying thing is McInnes seems to have no idea how to change things.
  6. Excellent news. Means even more money when we flog him in the summer.
  7. Article in Scotsman seems to suggest Hampden is confirmed for both semi finals and also confirms prices. https://www.scotsman.com/sport/football/teams/rangers/dates-announced-for-scottish-cup-semi-finals-1-4701446
  8. Would be tempted to go with both May and Rooney through the middle from the start in this one. Cannot see the need for 2 holding midfielders against Partick should should be able to play an old fashioned 4-4-2. This is a game we should be looking to win comfortably and be on the front foot from the off. Not a chance McInnes will approach the game that way. In Train then bar near the ground Away end Beer then train back to the capital. 0-2 Rooney and McLean.
  9. Rescheduled for 3rd April. https://www.afc.co.uk/2018/03/06/motherwell-v-aberdeen-rescheduled-fixture/
  10. It was a stonewall penalty however.
  11. Ticket Prices: Adults £20 Concession £10 Under 16: £5 https://www.afc.co.uk/2018/03/06/ticket-details-kilmarnock-v-aberdeen-tuesday-13th-march/ ETA: Apparently confirmed game will NOT be on TV.
  12. Looked poor from stream I was watching. Could not understand why we would bring a defensive midfielder on when we had Greg Stewart on the bench. Surely we bring on an attacking player to try and win the game. When will McInnes understand Rooney is a central striker not a winger. May looks a shadow of the player who was at St Johnstone.
  13. That's why Wednesdays game was cancelled. Would expect game to be off tomorrow which will mean fixtures beginning to pile up.

Unbelievably my office is closed today for a wee bit snow. No buses and no trains. About 6 inches of snow at most. We are becoming a nation of pussies. Hopefully the pubs open.
  15. Not sure if this will survive the weather but if it does this is one we have to win as would not want to go into the cup game on three game losing run. Shinnie is back along with Christie which should improve the middle of the field with O'Connor and Nwakali dropping out. Would be tempted to give Rogers a run instead of Woodman as he has not impressed so far. In if on Work then train to Motherwell Away end Train back to the capital 1-1 Rooney
  16. Another game against the vagrants and another gutless defensive performance. Sat far to deep again. May was utter shite although he did not get much service. Maybe folk will now give Rooney some slack in these games now. GMS misses another one on one in a big game. Cosgrove looked like someone who has had 3 starts for Carlisle United. Other than Donsdaft's favourite player we were shite in every position. I said after last 2 3-0 defeats I would not watch another game against Celtic under McInnes but stupidly went again today. Not repeating that mistake again.
  17. Utterly speechless at that.
  18. Two 3-0 defeats so far this season and I cannot see this being any different. We just do not seem to have any clue how to beat this mob. Thought of Ball or Nwakali in the middle against this lot is frightening. Pub long before the end I fear. In Train then beer in town Y Beer then train back to Capital 0-3 no Dons scorer. Please prove me wrong Dons.
  19. So Trump's answer to school shootings is more guns. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-43149694 He has to be going for the insanity card.
  20. This. Thankfully never happen. As for McInnes and the summer recruitment I am convinced he thought he would be away in the summer and had to cobble together a squad on who was available and not who fitted the gaps in the team or the system we play at the last minute when no acceptable move materialised.
  21. Just to top the weekend off Tribute Act win 5-3 to go 2nd again and Dims drop 2 points drawing 0-0 with St Johnstone.
  22. Sorry LA but Nwakali was awful today. Totally out of his depth. McLean was probably the only one to get pass marks. I would lay most of the blame for today firmly at the feet of McInnes. He got his initial tactics wrong then his change at half time actaully made things worse. I fear next week could be an even bigger doing.
  23. Killie's plastic carpet was laid to save money not because it was a better surface than their existing grass one.
  24. McLeish had a decent record the first time around. Probably the best of the Scottish candidates mentioned in the press. As others have said his appointment shows lack of ambition and narrow minded view of the SFA. Looks like they only consider Scottish candidates.
  25. Scored for the U20s against Hearts the other day if that counts.
