  1. Finished 2-2. May and Wright with goals for Dons.
  2. 3rd pre season game today in Perth. No new signings in this week is a bit disappointing. Always find it a bit odd that we play another team from our league in preseason. £15 in today is a bit steep for a friendly but it is a testimonial I suppose. In Lift up and pint in stadium bar if there in time. Away end Lift back to capital Hopefully another win with few more chances created than Wednesday
  3. Remember Devlin and Cosgrove were both deemed summer signings so 7 to replace 10.
  4. From what I was told there should be enough tickets for some in phase 3 to get.
  5. Not yet for away leg. Hopefully on Monday.
  6. I think any defender will be right sided to cover Logan and Devlin. Logan is already missing first 2 league games due to suspension and with Devlin’s injury record there is no guarantee he can play a full season.
  7. Folk at DNA q&a say that McInnes confirmed only two more players being targeted a defender and a striker. Also mentioned that they are hoping to extend scouting beyond English lower leagues going forward.
  8. Hibs have allegedly signed Stevie Mallan from Barnsley. Decent signing if correct.
  9. Remember to do your quarter final picks.
  10. Scotsman reporting bid has been rejected along with one from Peterborough for £750k. Suspect the second bid puts us out of the running.
  11. To big a queue when I got there so never bothered. Still regretting it now.
  12. From the new guys was impressed with Forrester who looks like he can play and he made some great passes. Gleeson was neat and tidy with the ball and rarely gave it away. Always making himself available to receive the ball. Lewis Ferguson also looked good. Made some decent runs and obviously scored. Of the games itself I know it was preseason but concern was we again created very little and outside the goal rarely troubled the Falkirk keeper. Not helped by having Cosgrove as the main striker. Cannot fault his work rate but he is not a footballer and rarely got himself into positions where he could hurt Falkirk. First time I have ever been to Arbroath and not come away with at least mild hypothermia.
  13. Which Stand was that for?
  14. For anyone going tonight the prices are as follows: Adults - £10 Conc - £5 Dons fans are in the Pleasureland end of the ground. 1930 kick off.
  15. Going to head up tomorrow to see what new lads look like. Was hoping we would have more in by now but looks like we have missed out on a couple of targets recently so are playing catch up now. Falkirk should provide a decent test. Hopefully Arbroath have the steak and black pudding pies on the go. In Lift up then hopefully pint across the road from ground. Halfway line Lift down the road Hopefully a Dons win.
  16. McGeouch signs for Sunderland. Big loss to Hibs and hopefully means we can move on from him and get to building our squad for this season. Fully expect us to be continually linked with him like we are with Moult however. https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/dylan-mcgeouch-completes-sunderland-move-12838693
  17. Season ticket for 2 years plus premium DNA purchased before last Friday is 140 points at a minimum which would put you into phase 3.
  18. When you sign up you get an email that say funds are split as follows: FIRST TEAM Directly supporting the Football Management Team’s budget by investing in the recruitment, development and retention of top talent to allow us to continue to compete and win at the highest levels. YOUTH ACADEMY Enhancing the AFC Youth Academy’s ability to identify, recruit, develop and inspire local young talent by creating experiences which will prepare young players for first team football. CREATING A HIGH-PERFORMANCE ENVIRONMENT To create a best-in-class Football Medicine, Sports Science and Performance Analysis support structure for all professional and Youth Academy players, ensuring they are as well equipped as they can be. As you can see it is quite woolly and definitely not a guarantee that money is going to first team only. Edit: could even argue that last bit opens door for funds to be diverted to Kingsford.

    World Cup

Croats always seem to have a piss poor performance in them. Usually sees them going out but not this time. They will not play as badly again and have got to fancy their chances of making the final.
  20. Dons played their first pre season game today against Cohn Ramblers winning 1-0. Forrester with goal for Dons.
  21. Kenny Miller appointed Livingston manager. Happy as that means the cunt is not going to sign for us.
  22. Basically you need to have bought DNA as well as season ticket for last 2 years to get a ticket in first 3 phases.
  23. Ticket details for the away leg announced. https://www.afc.co.uk/2018/06/29/uefa-europa-league-second-qualifying-round-2nd-leg-information/ Looks like pub for me.
  24. Don’t know how true it is but have heard It said McInnes is not keen on working with players from outside UK or Ireland.
  25. Didn't set the heather on fire while on loan at Bristol last season. Would rather we gave own youngsters game time than going in to loan markets again.
