  1. Only reason Hoban is here is because he cannot stay out of the treatment room. Ability wise he is clearly good enough to play at a higher level. If he can stay fit I fully expect him to get a deal at a championship or even bottom end Premier club in England which would take him well out of our wage bracket.
  2. Where you seeing that Rico? Can’t see it mentioned on SFA site anywhere. https://www.scottishfa.co.uk/media/1849/suspensions-for-players-in-mens-football-annex-c-section-4.pdf
  3. He fairly clattered into the post so would not rule it out. Does the league have a concussion protocol like NFL and Rugby?
  4. Pish that a big game like this has been scheduled for mid week. Having to arrange ‘meetings” on Wednesday to allow me to get away from the office early enough. Would assume Cosgrove would be a risk given nature of his injury and would think we will go with May and Stewart up front and McGinn coming in to give us more width and protection to the full backs. Of more concern is the injury to Lewis. Although Cerny did okay when he came on his kicking was poor and he looked very hesitant to come for crosses. Would be much happier going into this game with Lewis so hopefully he makes it. Do not expect our game plan to change much from previous games against these vile bigots. Another chance to ram the “A class above” comments down the Scouse clowns throat. In Lift up the road Y Lift back to the Capital 1-0 Stewart
  5. Both Italian and Dutch football being shown on Premier Sport and Freesport from this weekend.
  6. 2 of which I have seen and neither were penalties. Andrew Dallas has refereed 3 Rangers games and awarded them 6 penalties.
  7. Was surprised myself when I saw the table. Won 5 out of last 6 apparently with only defeat coming from Dundee. Run coincides with return of Naismith.
  8. Hearts win 2-1 at Rugby Park tonight to move within a point of Dons admittedly having played a game more.
  9. Day before the game and no match thread what is this site coming to. Not seen anything yet to suggest any of the injured players are back so would expect the team to be much along the lines of Tuesday’s. Porteous out injured long term for the Green spoon burners so they should be weaker at the back although McNulty will give them better attacking options. Hopefully get through this with no additional injuries or suspensions. In Flat then 2 minute walk to ground Away end 2 minute walk back to flat 2-1 Stewart and McGinn.
  10. Have to agree Manc. Any injuries or suspensions will leave us reliant on youngsters who have little first team experience. Window has again reinforced that club has no ambition beyond 3rd.
  11. Or suspensions.
  12. GMS can still join MLS until start of May when their window shuts.
  13. Lewis Morgan confirmed as signing for Sunderland on loan until the end of the season. https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/47071216
  14. Liverpool can only draw 1-1 with Leicester. Bournemouth have horsed Chelsea 4-0.
  15. A couple of coupon busters last night. Liverpool’s league to lose now.
  16. Excellent first half performance from Dons last night. Played some nice football and created a good number of chances. Thought Shinnie was our best player followed by Stewart, McGinn and Wright. Second half was a bit disappointing. Mixture of us taking their foot off the gas and Stenhousemuir throwing everything at us. They deserved their goal and if it was not for a belting own goal the last 20 minutes might have been more uncomfortable than they were. Ethan Ross came on for his first team debut and looked decent. I have only just warmed up.
  17. I have a spare ticket for tonight if anyone is interested.
  18. According to ticket office staff we got just over 1500 tickets. I have one and will be heading through after work. To be fucking freezing tonight. Looking like McKenna will be out so would expect Hoban to coming in for him as the only change from Saturday although I still think we need more width in the team. As long as team are professional in their approach we should have enough to get through tonight. In Lift then pub near ground Away end Lift back to Capital 2-0 Cosgrove and May
  19. Daily Ranger claiming this morning that McInnes has spoken to Lewis Morgan and it is now up to the player if he wants to move to Dons or down South on loan. Also reporting that McInnes interested in Hayes if GMS moves to New York.
  20. In article I read McInnes said Reynolds would not play on plastic pitch on Tuesday but that Hoban would play. Also said Devlin was at least 10 days away from returning which is what he has said in every interview since Devlin got injured in November.
  21. As well as two points looks like game has also cost us Scott McKenna for a couple of weeks. Hamstring tightness according to McInness in papers.
  22. Hibs players respond to Lebanon’s suspension by winning 3-1 in Paisley. Tribute Act currently 1-0 against Livingston. ETA Tribute Act won 3-0 in the end. Comfortable win against a Livingston side who did not play with the same intensity as they did before the break.
  23. Poor game. Neither side showed any real desire to win the game. No urgency shown when on the ball. That’s twice I have seen Stewart since he came back and although he has had some nice touches I am yet to be convinced bringing him back was a good idea. Cannot see where he fits into the team. 2 points dropped.
