International break should have given players time to recharge batteries and ground staff time to work on the pitch. Saints are not the team they were last season so should be looking to win this one comfortably. Up in Aberdeen over Easter weekend so no mad rush for transport. Hopefully warmer than last home game.

2-0 McLean and McGinn
Piss poor first half but better second. Though McBurnie played well and should have had a goal. McKenna looked comfortable despite being asked to play on left of a 3. Robertson looks a class above the rest of the team. McDonald and McTominay showed some decent touches in midfield. Costa Rica looked a good side with some decent players.
Difference is Maynard, May, Arnason, Cosgrove, GMS etc are our players and we can chose which games we can and can't play them. Loan players the parent club has a say so not really our players.
Most experienced player in the squad so suppose it makes sense.
Going to head along tomorrow but sure what to expect. We were decent under McLeish the first time around so hoping he can get same type of results again.
Another poor performance but thankfully that was more than enough to beat a shite Dundee side. May looks a yard slower than player who was at St Johnstone and rarely gets into a position where he might score a goal. Nwakali runs about a lot but contributes little beyond that. Christie had another poor game. Shinnie played well and took chance that was presented to him by Dundee keeper well.
Coldest I have been at Pittodrie in a long time.
Hopefully cup win gives the team the confidence boost it desperately needs. We need to start the game the way we finished last night. I would hope that we will go with players who will be available for the semi final as we need to give them as much game time as possible.

1-0 Rooney
Better game than Saturday but that was not hard. 1 goal in 4 games (inside 90 minutes) is not good. We need to approach games like we did in extra time last night from the off. Work rate was good last night but we created very few clear cut chances. Great to see Rugby park with a big crowd. Great atmosphere. Special mention to the ref. He was awful again. However we are through so got to be happy with that.
Against my better judgement going to head over to the replay tomorrow. Hoping the fact it's a cup tie means Killie have to open up which should give us space to get after them. Given up trying to guess what team and formation McInnes will put out. Hopefully no extra time as it means I will miss last train back to Edinburgh.

2-0 McGinn and Rooney.
That was brutal today. We looked totally devoid of ideas. Ball was only one to get pass marks. He was not spectacular but kept things simple and worked hard. Rest of the team were awful. We look like a team that cannot wait for the seasonto end. Woodman's distribution makes me miss clangers. Christie was like being a man down. How he managed to avoid being subbed is beyond me. Most worrying thing is McInnes seems to have no idea how to change things.
Article in Scotsman seems to suggest Hampden is confirmed for both semi finals and also confirms prices.

Would be tempted to go with both May and Rooney through the middle from the start in this one. Cannot see the need for 2 holding midfielders against Partick should should be able to play an old fashioned 4-4-2. This is a game we should be looking to win comfortably and be on the front foot from the off. Not a chance McInnes will approach the game that way.

ETA: Apparently confirmed game will NOT be on TV.
Looked poor from stream I was watching. Could not understand why we would bring a defensive midfielder on when we had Greg Stewart on the bench. Surely we bring on an attacking player to try and win the game. When will McInnes understand Rooney is a central striker not a winger. May looks a shadow of the player who was at St Johnstone.
