  1. That had been coming sadly. We have not been playing well for a while and it was only the poor standard of opposition that has prevented us from losing before now. Motherwell bullied us from the off and not one of our players looke capable of standing up to them. Cannot understand why McInnes changed the back 4 as it was one of the bright spots from Saturday. Two awful mistakes from Joe which has been unlike him in his time here. Ball looks every inch a last munute panic signing.Very poor. Shinnie had another poor game to go with Saturday's. Really need to improve quickly as we have a difficult run of games ahead of us.
  2. Hibs through to semi finals after beating Franchise FC 3-2. Tribute Act need extra time to get passed Thistle 3-1. Tribute Act's progress means our league game at Snake Mountain will be moved as it clashes with League Cup semis.
  3. Not looking forward to this one at all. Very unimpressed with the performance at the weekend and Motherwell look to be finding form. Hopefully Maynard experiment is at an end as he offers nothing. Would much rather we stuck with Rooney and May as a top 2. As Bobby said think there is potential for them to score a lot of goals playing together if we give them time to develop a partnership. In Lift through and hopefully time for a pint Lower Away stand Lift back to capital 2-1 Dons May and winner from Rooney coming off the bench
  4. Really need to start playing a settled team. Would like to see us give Rooney and May another shot up front together as think there is potential for a prolific partnership there. Killie look very poor as well so should be looking to win by a few. In Train then pub Y Pub then train 4-0 May 2 & Ronney 2.
  5. Well that was shite. A number of players not at the races today but thankfully Lewis was not one of them. He stopped us taking a hiding today.
  6. 1st round proper draw Wick v Stirling Uni Selkirk v Gretna Edusport v Rothes Banks o'Dee v Huntly Spartans v Vale of Leithen Gala v Keith Fraserburgh v Forres LTHV v Inverurie Edinburgh Uni v Lossiemouth Clachnacuddin v Fort William Glenafton v Threave / Glasgow Uni Brora v Girvan Nairn v Whitehill Colville v Cumbernauld Deveronvale v Hawick Formartine v Turriff Civil Service Strollers v Strathspey BSCG v Dalbeattie
  7. Correct Better performance last night. Thought Robertson, McArthur and Phillips were the standouts. Forrrest was only negative. Cannot understand why he keeps getting picked. Draw against Lithuania at home is even more annoying now.
  8. Brechin are a championship side this season so not going to get him much higher than that
  9. As they are development loans and both are 18 and 19 respectively I would guess not. It is more a case of getting first team experience for them.
  10. McLennan out on loan to Brechin and Anderson out on loan to Elgin. Both development loans.
  11. Football Junkie. Try to find a game to go to whenever I am away or at a lose end. For example heading to Lancaster City v Staleybridge Celtic on Monday.
  12. In Some pub in West End Section 2 Train back to Capital 2-0 McLean and May
  13. Off the top of my head Been to all current league grounds in Scotland plus 10 highland league, 12 in the lowland league, 5 in the east of Scotland league, 19 in the East Juniors, 11 in the North Juniors and 2 in the West Juniors. Also seen football at Murrayfield. In England been to 27 grounds including Wembley 4 in Wales including Cardiff Arms 4 in the Republic including Aviva 1 in Austria 4 in France including the Stade de France 5 in Germany including Olympic Stadium in Berlin and Westfalen in Dortmund and Allianz Arena in Munich 6 in Czech Republic including both Slavia and Sparta grounds in Prague 5 in Holland including the Amsterdam Arena 2 in Belgium 4 in Italy including the San Siro 2 in Slovenia 1 in Poland 1 in Croatia 1 in Serbia 1 in Lithuania 1 in Georgia 2 in Ukraine 1 in Slovakia 2 in Sweden including the Ullevi in Gothenburg 2 in Norway 3 in Denmark 2 in Malta 5 in Spain 1 in Cyprus 1 in Macedonia 1 in Iceland 6 in the US Most impressive facility wise was the Levi's stadium in Santa Clara in the US best for atmosphere is between the stadiums in Munich, Dortmund and Berlin. Most disappointing would be Wembley and the Emirates. Sure there are a few I have forgotten.
  14. Same price as Tynecastle last season.
  15. Squad is pretty much as expected with Strachen still picking players who are either off form or not playing from the start/at all with their club sides. Something he said he would not do when he started. Not bothering with either of these games as I have been to Lithuania a number of times before and heading to Glasgow on a Monday night to watch us play Malta is about as appealing as sticking bamboo splinters under my finger nails.
  16. Poor performance today. A lot of players not at the races today. Thank fuck for Steve May. Two well taken goals with 2nd being a belter however it was scored when Dundee were down to 9. We were struggling to create anything when it was 11 v 11. Very surprised to see Rooney brought on to play wide left when Wright was sitting on the bench.
  17. Watched by a crowd of 155. Ross the scorer for Dons. Colts teams have no place in the Challange Cup.
  18. Given their start to the season fully expect Dundee to come up and sit it and try and shitfest their way to a point. Think we have the players to break them down but we may have to be patient. In Train up the road Y Family BBQ 2-0 May and Stewart
  19. Currently only a 20 minute walk to the train station. That option will not be open at a ground 6 miles from the station.
  20. At least you have a choice of transport away from Pittodrie. Sitting in on a bus will be only option if new stadium gets passed.
  21. What they are going to spend ages waiting for a shuttle bus in the pissing rain then sit in a line of traffic?
  22. If he's not careful he is going start a civil war in the US.
  23. First round results Burntisland 0 v 7 Colville Park Kelty 0 v 1 Lothian Glenafton 6 v 0 Newton Stewart 2nd qualifying round results Lothian Thistle 4-0 Coldstream Glenafton Ath 6-1 Golspie Sutherland Banks O'Dee 2-1 Linlithgow Rose St Cuthberts Wanderers 3-5 Girvan Glasgow University 1-1 Threave Rovers Colville Park 5-0 Preston Athletic Big shock has to be Banks of Dee beating Linlithgow.
  24. Ajax beaten by Heracles 2-1 on opening day of Dutch season.
  25. Oot - £63 return from Edinburgh on the train! Flat Local game probably Spartans v BSC or Burntisland v Colville Park Flat 2-0 McLean and Stewart
