  1. Excellent move that should have happened at the end of last season.
  2. Did laugh at that.
  3. Given Barry Robson was given a guard of honour today I assume he is also away.
  4. Last 2 games have been a disgrace. Team just going through the motions. Only thing you could say is at least we know now that none of the fringe players other than McKenna are good enough and need to be cleared out. Also why we are still persisting with Taylor is beyond me. He cannot even get the basics right. Oh well only 5 weeks until the first preseason game.
  5. Goalkeepers Scott Bain (Dundee) David Marshall (Cardiff City) Allan McGregor (Hull City) Defenders Christophe Berra (Ipswich Town) Gordon Greer (Brighton and Hove Albion) Grant Hanley (Blackburn Rovers) Alan Hutton (Aston Villa) Russell Martin (Norwich City) Charlie Mulgrew (Celtic) Callum Paterson (Heart of Midlothian) Andrew Robertson (Hull City) Lee Wallace (Rangers) Midfielders Ikechi Anya (Watford) Barry Bannan (Sheffield Wednesday) Oliver Burke (Nottinghaam Forest) Darren Fletcher (West Bromwich Albion) Shaun Maloney (Hull City) James McArthur (Crystal Palace) John McGinn (Hibernian) Barrie McKay (Rangers) Matt Phillips (Queens Park Rangers) Matt Ritchie (Bournemouth) Robert Snodgrass (Hull City) Forwards Steven Fletcher (Sunderland*) Chris Martin (Derby County) Ross McCormack (Fulham) Steven Naismith (Norwich City) Squad in full. Shinnie will get his cap as soon as he moves to a big club.
  6. Westhill is a nightmare to get to on public transport. Hopefully a just trying to force city councils hand to get a decent location within the city.
  7. Sunderland win 3-0. Newcastle and Norwich relegated with Villa.
  8. Sunderland 3-0 up on a woeful Everton tonight. If they can see this out Sunderland are safe and Norwich and Newcastle are relegated.
  9. From memory to qualify for development compensation the player must have been offered a contract better than the one he was currently on. No idea if this lad will be any good or not but it is good to see club getting players in early again especially with the early start for the Europa campaign.
  10. With both Rooney and Church out McGinn is the logical choice to play up front but not sure McInnes rates him there so not sure we will line up. Hopefully we can delay title party but have a feeling they will be out to put us firmly in our place. Oot Flat Flat Flat 3-1 Dims. McLean with consolation for Dons.
  11. Arabs relegated by Dundee. Painful way to go.
  12. Burnley promoted after 1-0 win.
  13. City comfortably through to play off game against East Stirlingshire after 1-1 draw at Meadowbank. 4-1 on aggregate. Surprised how poor Cove where in both games. Never really troubled City in either game.
  14. According to SSN Rooney is back which should make a difference. Cannot be any worse than last week surely. Oot Flat Edinburgh City v Cove Flat 2-0 Rooney double.
  15. Boro robbed of 3 points tonight at St Andrews. Ridiculous offside decision rules out goal that would have put them 3 up.
  16. 2nd leg is at Meadowbank on Saturday. £5 for adults £2 for accompanied kids if anyone is in Edinburgh and looking for something to do.
  17. Actually cheered when I read he was staying. Got a few funny looks in the office. Excellent bit of business.
  18. Agree with McInnes not being on the list. Cup record alone this year is enough to rule him out. As for Warburton he should be nowhere near the list. Pretty much any one, other than fat Sally, could win the Championship with the budget he has compared to the other teams in that division. He will win it however as he is manager of the tribute act. If it was a fair contest I would think it would be between Houston and McIntyre.
  19. Stuck this in here as McInnes not on the short list. Jim McIntyre is only top flight manager on the list with the others being Warburton, Houston and McInally.
  20. Jonny Hayes is the only Dons player to make it on the list along with the racist shoplifter at Celtic and Hemmings and Stewart from Dundee. Bit surprised at the two Dundee lads as neither really stood out when we played them although I see Hemmings has 21 goals this season so probably does deserve to be in there.
  21. South Yorkshire Police were the Tories storm troopers who had loyal served the Tories during the miners strikes and others so they were always going to be allowed to be protected by the establishment. Plus blaming fans played into Tory agenda at the time to vilify football fans.
  22. Sunderland now out of bottom three after 0-0 draw with Arsenal.
  23. Cove have been playing their home games at Inverurie, Formartine, Keith and Banks of Dee this year following sale of Allan Park. Supposedly all games to be at Inverurie next season until they get the ground sorted.
  24. That was as bad as anything the team produced during the slump last October. Players looked totally disinterested from the off. Manager got the tactics massively wrong and his failure to get in a competent number 1 after Ward left is really come home to roost in last 3 games. Team needs to get act together or there is a chance we could end up blowing 2nd.
