  1. Unlike others I want a win in this one as I still think we are more likely to win the cups than we are the league. Would not think there will be many changes but would expect to see Brown McLaughlin and Parker to start. With Rooney not starting on Sunday see no reason for him not to play this one. In Artisan Away end 30 second walk back to flat. 2-0 Rooney double.
  2. Hopefully the first of many for him. As Manc said need him to do well there so when he comes back he can provide an alternative goal threat to Rooney in case anything happens to him.
  3. Jerome Valoke FIFA Secretary General has been removed from his post with immediate effect following allegations of corruption around a World Cup ticket deal. Corruption allegations getting closer and closer to auld Sepp. Can only be a question of time before he is arrested.
  4. Man United now saying Luke Shaw's injury likely to keep him out for 9 months and that he requires a 2nd operation.
  5. Farce but not unexpected. As soon as Victim FC started greeting in the press about Saturday the SFA were going to up hold the red card.
  6. In Travelling down from Aberdeen then Roseburn Away end Flat 1-0 McGinn.
  7. Double fracture and out for 4 to 6 months minimum.
  8. Sadly not able to make it up for this one. As long as no injuries or suspensions see no reason to change a winning team. In the past this is the sort of game Dons would lose on the back of a win like Saturday's but think this team is a different animal to previous teams and full expect us to do a professional job tomorrow. In/Out: Oot Pre-match: Work Match: Listening to game on radio if it's on. Post match: Bed Prediction: 2-0 dons - Maclean and McGinn
  9. 2-0 final. Hearts being brought back to earth with a bump. Defender sent off tonight will miss Dons game next week.
  10. Saw elsewhere an extra £3.75M a year mentioned but nothing official.
  11. Road to Hampden starts again with first Round draw made today. Banks O'Dee vs Cove Rangers BSC Glasgow vs Auchinleck Talbot Strathspey Thistle vs Edinburgh University Lothian Thistle / Girvan vs Kelty Hearts Preston Athletic vs Fort William Lossiemouth vs Forres Mechanics Keith vs Inverurie Loco Works Spartans vs Coldstream Hawick Royal Albert vs Huntly Deveronvale vs Clachnacuddin Threave Rovers vs University of Stirling Gala Fairydean Rovers vs Linlithgow Rose Cumbernauld Colts vs Glasgow University Nairn County vs Selkirk Buckie Thistle vs Rothes Fraserburgh vs Dalbeattie Star Wick Academy vs Whitehill Welfare Formartine United vs Gretna 2008 Ties to be played on Saturday 26th September 2015
  12. Marhsall Hutton R Martin Hanley Mulgrew Brown McArthur Morrison Forrest Maloney S Fletcher Team for tonight.
  13. In Pub in town for a breakfast cider Y Pub in town 2-1 tims. Rooney for Dons. Cannot see us winning this one. Although we have been playing okay we have not been creating enough chances.
  14. Edited because I cannot count or read a text properly.
  15. Turks must be cursing that last minute equaliser against Latvia as they would be as good as through to play offs without it.
  16. Strachen suggesting in press this morning that there will be changes for tonight's game against Germany. Would hope that means Brown, Naismith and Maloney dropping out but expect it to be Robertson Anya and Fletcher dropping out to be replaced by Whittaker Forrest and the shop lifter.
  17. Heavy drinker. Another who pissed what could have been a world class talent against a wall. Remember seeing him playing for United and he was one of those players who you did not mind paying to see.
  18. Excellent post Tom. When Strachen was first appointed I had hoped he would challenge the way the national team was being run. Instead he embraces the old boy net work by appointing McCall and McGhee and continued with the policy of not selecting non old firm Scottish based players. Very little has improved under him and we are on course to finish in the same position as our last campaign. The only reason we are still in the hunt is 24 teams qualifying this time round.
  19. Northern Ireland can qualify if they beat Hungray on Monday. Germany's 3-1 win gives us a glimour of hope but a very slim one.
  20. That's us out. Very flat performance. How Brown came out for 2nd half is beyond me. Totally ineffectual. Substitutions reeked of McGee's influence.
  21. Just surprised this story hit the press now. Would have expected it next Friday so it was fresh in everyone's thoughts for the Saturday in an attempt to unsettle team and fans. Most football fans have the attention span of a goldfish and will have forgotten about this by next weekend.
  22. Denmark have the edge in head to head games. Away goal in 1-1 draw in Tirana.
  23. Just seen that. Unimaginable that they could not make a 24 team tournament but it's a possibility now.
  24. Wales taking a massive step towards qualification with 1-0 win in Cyprus. Meanwhile Iceland as good as guarantee Dutch will have to get through via 3rd place play off at best. Currently 8 behind Iceland and 6 behind the Czechs. Massive game in Instanbul on Sunday as Turks are only a point behind them.

Cheers. Loved the trips to Candlestick in the past and to be honest was a bit gutted when they announced the move to the new stadium however everything I have heard about facilities at Levi makes it sound like it is going to be a great stadium to visit.
