Really nice place Al. Locals very friendly and loads to do and see. Only problem for me has been the heat. Far to hot for my liking.

This. Also cannot see other teams in the group defending as poorly. Thought first half we were far to pedestrian although this may have been down to the heat. Woeful first half with McInnes clearly shitting the bed. Scored completely against the run of play and were lucky to only be 2-1 down at half time. Bit better in second half but not sure if that was because they were cruising by then. Looked a penalty to me but others suggesting it was not. Celtic going through is a disaster for Scottish football with them getting at least £20m extra from the group phase. Will kill any chance of us having a competitive league. Good free kick from McGinn and horrible mistake from Thistle defender to let Storey in should have us in easy street at 2-0 however McIness decided to again try and manage the game out by brining on Taylor and moving OConnor into midfield. This allowed Thistle back into the game and in the end we ended up hanging on. Good to get a win but should have been more convincing than it was.

Hopefully two up top today as we have looked toothless with just Stockley in first two league games. Not been convinced by Stockley so far so would like to see us go with Rooney Storey as front 2. Apart from the first game at Tynecastle Hearts pretty much had our number last season and knew how to prevent us from playing our usual game hopefully new signings will mean we will not as out muscled as we were last season.
