Better game than Saturday but that was not hard. 1 goal in 4 games (inside 90 minutes) is not good. We need to approach games like we did in extra time last night from the off. Would be tempted to go with both May and Rooney through the middle from the start in this one. Cannot see the need for 2 holding midfielders against Partick should should be able to play an old fashioned 4-4-2. Looked poor from stream I was watching. Could not understand why we would bring a defensive midfielder on when we had Greg Stewart on the bench. Surely we bring on an attacking player to try and win the game. When will McInnes understand Rooney is a central striker not a winger. May looks a shadow of the player who was at St Johnstone.

He got his initial tactics wrong then his change at half time actaully made things worse. I fear next week could be an even bigger doing.
