This was going to be a difficult game if we were playing well so expecting this to be a watching from behind the couch type of night. Perversely I do think Shaktar are the type of team that the Dons are set up to play against. I expect Shaktar to have a lot of the ball and be on the front foot which should leave the space for the quick transitions that Thelin goes on about. However with our best goal scorer, Nisbet, not really fitting the system, Lazetic looking like he has technical ability to play system but not seen anything that suggests he is a striker and seen nothing from Yengi that suggests he is a footballer I can’t see the system working. Add into that that we seem to have two full backs in Jensen and Gyamfi who cannot defend and a defensive central midfield who are slow at best this could get ugly quickly.
