  1. Keeper is a must as both are not reliable enough. Both have cost us games this year. As others have said would think a new CH is a must possibly two as still think most are being to charitable to Ash "bomb scare" Taylor. Mind you if Shinnie does go to left back it does free up Considine to play CH. Agree with Bobby that I would like to see McGinn playing behind Ronney the in the middle. Having said the above other than a keeper the rest is just tinkering and do think that with a quality keeper we will have a squad next season that really could push Celtic all the way.
  2. Rooney for me with Considine and Hayes just behind.
  3. Give us a shout over the weekend when your up for watching game. Not making this one either. Pish kick off time makes it way to easy to sit in pub and watch this on TV. Oot Flat Pub somewhere Edinburgh Wolves American Football game at Meadowbank 2-0 Rooney double.
  4. Booked up two trips this year. Heading to Portugal for a week in October around the Scotland game. Then heading to San Francisco at the end of November for 12 days. Looking forward too them already.
  5. Agree with comments on Qatar but as it is being played 2 minutes from my house I will probably end up going.
  6. They will make the play offs but hopefully fact that Queen of the South have gubbed them twice at Palmerston means they will lose in the play offs,
  7. Scotland have confirmed a friendly against those giants of the World game Qatar on the 5th of June at Easter Road. Wonder if SFA got a nice brown envelope like the FIFA Executive Comittee to take on a game the could actual harm our world ranking for next World Cup draw.
  8. Is the correct response. Also be nice to see Dundee keeping Accies out so that Tic would be only west coast team in top 6.
  9. Leave them free to make an informed choice of supporting the Dons or going to the orphanage.
  10. Shows what I know as Langfield is dropped for Brown. Midfield of Robson and Flood makes me suspect we maybe happy with the draw.
  11. Totally Manc. Violence is common at most of their league and international home games as well as racist chanting. The awarding of world cups to both Russia and Qatar is just further evidence of how corrupt FIFA is.
  12. Total rugby town. I have been to a few games down there and crowds were woeful even though tickets were cheaper than what we charge at Pittodrie. Soon be back in the 4th division where they belong.
  13. Wonder if the Tribute Act will have a minutes silence to mark his passing when they play Rovers on Sunday.
  14. Would be surprised if McInnes dropped a keeper who kept a clean sheet at the weekend.
  15. Goram Van Bronckhurst Narey Heggarty Malpas Laudrup Bannon Brown DiCannio Larrson Caniggia
  16. Well that was shite. Very poor back to front. Conditions played a part in that but would say our tactics were largely to blame. Reverted to long balls far to quickly yesterday as we did against Dundee. Flood starting was a waste of time. Not a reflection on Floods efforts but against Thistle we do not need a player of his style. Should have been a straight 4-4-2 yesterday. As others have said could not believe the stick Langfield took yesterday. Do not think he did much wrong yesterday in fact bailed out Renynolds and Taylor a couple of times with good saves. However neither Langfield or Brown is good enough and we really need to get a decent keeper in this summer. Really hope we are not going to suffer the same run of form as this time last year but is beginning to look like we are.

    Fit like?

The virus was from the porn you downloaded.
  18. Reading that squad has reminded me why I never went to the football sober in those days.
  19. Positive press is just the same as previous bunch of spivs and shysters got when they first took over. Soon enough the orcs and their pets in the press will realise they are being conned again. It really is the gift that keeps on giving.
  20. Agree with comments about giving Shankland a run. Surely this is the sort of game to play him in. With little to play for we are not really risking that much by giving him a run of games. In / oot: In Pre matcher: Archies Match: Y Post matcher: Meal with in laws in town Prediction: 3-0 Rooney Double and McGinn
  21. Thought it was only me that was not overly impressed with Hector. However as TC says would rather him than Taylor.
  22. For Reynolds to be behind 34 year old Gordon Greer was a farce. Surely in a friendly we should have been trying out players who will be around for the long term yet we again give games in the main to the tried and tested. Reynolds treatment just reinforces my view that Magoo has far more influence over team selection than a assistant manager should have. As for game itself I hope they have now got the message that against a team who is going to sit in 4-5-1 is not effective and that Fletcher and Rhodes should start against Gib. Anya again impressed along with Forsyth and Darren Fletcher. Stephen Fletcher worked hard but cannot buy a goal at the moment however as long as we go 2 up front on Sunday would still give him a run. Whittaker is shite and needs emptied urgently. Not sure who could replace him at right back but surely we have someone better than him. Lastly Michael McGovern again impressed. When is his contract up with Accies?
  23. If we get more points than last season the I would say we can rightly say we have improved however sucess is winning something and we will win nothing this season so it is not a successful season.
  24. If the stories are true then we have to get rid sharpish. Do not need disruptive influences in the dressing room. Said when we first signed him that his off field issues should have meant we did not touch him.
  25. Thought draw was probably fair result in the end. We had plenty of ball in first half but most of the time were to ponderous once the ball arrived at Flood or Jack. McInnes has to realise we cannot play both Jack and Flood. Has to just be one of them i.e. Jack. Well taken goal by Rooney following great play by Driver. If he continues this sort of form we should be getting a contract extension on the table now. Second half was awful. Again baffling tactics as we seemed to settle for 1-0 win and have Ash Taylor aimlessly punting the ball to various Dundee players. Substitution of Driver was right as his legs were gone but for McInnes then to wait until 4 minutes from the end to make the next change was beyond belief. McLean Flood and Taylor especially could all have been hooked long before the end. Impressed with Bain again. Looks a decent keeper. Shame we never had one like him on our books.....
