  1. The week of football advert at the start for the draw showed that the only fans UEFA care about are the armchair ones. They do not care about people actually attending the games only how much they can rake in from tv companies.
  2. In/oot: Oot Prematcher: Work or ERI labour ward Match: flat or ERI labour ward Postmatcher: Bed or ERI labour ward Prediciton: 2-2

  4. Decent draw. Not one of the teams we are not capable of getting points off. Although admittedly all the teams apart from Gib will be looking at us and thinking the same.
  5. Draw today for 2016 European Championship qualifiers. Pots are as follows: Pot 1: Spain, Germany, Italy, England, Holland, Portugal, Greece, Russia and Bosnia-Herzegovina. Pot 2: Ukraine, Croatia, Sweden, Denmark, Switzerland, Belgium, Czech Republic, Hungary, Republic of Ireland. Pot 3: Serbia, Turkey, Slovenia, Israel, Norway, Slovakia, Romania, Austria, Poland. Pot 4: Montenegro, Armenia, Scotland , Finland, Latvia, Wales, Bulgaria, Estonia, Belarus. Pot 5: Iceland, Northern Ireland, Albania, Lithuania, Moldova, Macedonia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Cyprus. Pot 6: Luxembourg, Kazakhstan, Liechtenstein, Faroe Islands, Malta, Andorra, San Marino, Gibraltar. Best chance of qualifying would go for Greece, Ireland, Poland, Cyprus and San Marino. As wife is about to have first child I am not going to make any away qualifiers nightmare draw for me would be Russia or Bosnia from pot 1, Hungary from pot 2, Turkey or Israel from pot 3, Albania from pot 5 and Kazakhstan from pot 6 as all places not seen Scotland play before.
  6. Strachen in papers saying Dons players not being picked as they have not been on form for long enough but picks a cunt who has not kicked a ball for his club for 6 months. Total shite from Strachen.
  7. Squad lends support to rumours on the go that no Aberdeen player will be getting a game for Scotland while McGhee is manager....I mean assistant manager.
  8. Assume that means Booth will be stepping down as Scotland U17 coach?
  9. Aye half 12 on the 16th April so only a month late! Final is 16th March.
  10. You will miss the final leaving then.
  11. Not sure that it's that good.
  12. Sacked according to Sky Sports.
  13. Fulham manager sacked and replaced by Felix Magath.
  14. Its on Sky.
  15. In addition to places mentioned by Dave Min would recommend Belgrade and Skopje if you are in Balkans region. I would 2nd Dave's recommendations on Ljubljana and Bratislava as places not to be missed. I have been to Budapest and loved it and would say its worth a visit. Brno in the Czech Republic also worth checking out. I liked both Vienna and Zagreb although my view on Zagreb maybe down to the permanent drunken haze I was in on both my visits.
  16. In/Oot: oot Prematch: Heading to Inverurie Match: Some pub in Inverurie Postmatch: Locos v Brora Predition: 3-0 dons
  17. Livi Reds will be running a bus to the league cup final at Parkhead. Bus will pick up from Edinburgh and Livingston but will consider other West Lothian pick ups if needed. Anyone interested drop me a PM and I will pass on the contact details.
  18. Looks like a panic reaction to them only being two points off the relegation places.
  19. Oot Flat Watch game on TV Edinburgh City v Dalbeattie Star 2-0 defeat
  20. Laudrop sacked by Swansea.
  21. Probably Merchant City somewhere then taxi out to stadium.
  22. Brown punted by Dundee. Rumour has it Paul Hartley is the replacement.
  23. Way to early to say that. Willie Millers first full season was arguably better as we were challenging for league as well and playing some unbelievable football. We were hammering teams on a regular basis which at present McInnes' Aberdeen are not doing. Smith and Scott also up there as they did win trophies and were a baw hair from winning the league. McInnes is definately an improvement on previous two clowns and has us moving in the right direction again but it is a bit early to say he is best since Fergie.
