Split they are pushing has already been tried in Austria and Switzerland and dropped by both countries as fans were deserting the game. Why are they putting forward that has already failed in two different countries.
Brown quoted in the record saying no precontract offers have been made to anyone and also again said that nobody will be coming in unless we shift players out first.
Only thing of merit in the proposal is the creation of one governing body. Rest is pish. There is a good article on The Away End site that lays out failings of latest plan better than I can.
Not the sort of characters we want around the club. Both wasters who had the talent to have had good careers but instead have snorted and pissed it all away.
Broon (auld) was in the P&J on Saturday saying Broon (fat) had said that he now wants to stay and fight for his place i.e. nobody else wants him so looks like we are stuck with him until his contract expires in the summer.

Andreson has been below par for a while now and even admitted as much in United match programme. He is clearly struggling with the heavier pitches and number of games. Hopefully break will allow him to recover but not sure that I would be rushing to renew his contract. Might be better to use his wage to get in some one younger.
Murphy mentions this morning about wanting to move to a club that would pay a fee to Motherwell as he wanted to make sure the club got something. Sheffield United are a big well supported club and not the same as joining a Hartlepool or Oldham. I would think its a decent move by Murphy as he should shine in that league and either get promotion with Sheffiedl United or do enough to attract a team from further up the leagues.
Just out of interest how would folk feel about Butcher as next Dons manager. Not that I am suggesting he will be but he has Caley punching well above their weight again this season and seems to be able to find cheap players who are able to do well in the SPL. However would his previous club (now deceased) go against him.
Thoughts?
Anybody else think 13,000 was a bit low for crowd. Looked more to me. We really need replace both keepers in this window as neither is any good. I really do think we will be lucky to keep McGinn past the summer. Far to good for this league.
Wonder why the sudden change of heart from Dons? Is this just a smoke screen to get fans of the lad's back as club want to play him until he leaves or hopefully club realising they acted to hastily when withdrawing original offer?
